Liz, I was just wondering about this - good timing
I can head down to Rockland on Friday with no problem. As long as I'm back in Ellsworth Saturday night I'm good. Of course with Maine everything is dependent on the %&#% weather !
Lisa may have to drive down to Ellsworth Saturday for Shemekia's concert though. She already said she didn't think she could leave Friday morning with me if I went early.
Can anyone else make it for Friday night ?
Weather is one of the reasons we're trying for earlier rather than
later in December!
If we have 4 or 5 people I think that will be fine (but the more the
merrier of course
). The kids' party thing will be fairly basic.
The ornaments are all ordered-got the final proof today. Tricia will put
up an order form on NESP early, and then when they arrive at the
end of the month we'll put the actual picture and advertise to the
masses. We'll definitely need help spreading the word and promoting
it on other sites when the time comes. The group in Rockland may
be able to help with the shipping process as well

Rockland on a Friday evening would be too far to drive and come right back, and not sure I can swing an overnight at the moment.
Is there a really really cheap motel?
Tradewinds was pretty cheap when I stayed there in August - but I chose them because they were so close to the theatre and the downtown is cool - it is typical old coast but clean - may be something cheaper

overnight....the girl from the shelter will also send me the names of
some close by motels...
BTW I thought of all of you tonight as we watched the remake of
Psycho and the Bates Motel was showcased

I'll discuss it with David this weekend, to make sure we don't have any conflicts, and that he can live without me for a night or so.
Make sure that the hotel reservations can cancel if the weather doesn't cooperate.
This really does sound like fun! We can split it between Liz, Linda, me, Margaux...maybe Deb? Alicia? Anyone else want to participate in this little excursion?
