LISA

Yes I'm reconsidering I pm'd AH yesterday to see what time she
is planning on leaving Friday.Haven't heard back yet. This is the Friday before the concert right?
Yes it is. Would be fun to have you there too, Lisa! Smile
Sorry guys, was out last night to a birthday party and crashed when I got home.
Had a dentist appointment and some errands this AM so just getting caught up.

Slumber party sounds fine - -  wouldn't be much different than usual  - -
just means we won't have to stagger back to our own rooms at 3 AM    Grin

Lisa - - will PM this too just in case - - -
I would like to be in Rockland before the late afternoon dusk period - - am not in love with that stretch below Stockton Springs after Route 1-A and 3 merge - saw 2 deer and one big (*) moose when came up from Rockland in August - - am planning on leaving in the morning, stopping in Bangor for lunch and getting into Rockland between 2:30 / 3:00 before the school buses start clogging up that road full of little "Bridgewaters".

It is a total of about 4 hours driving time with good roads - so backing up from Rockland - I would want to plan on leaving PI between 9 & 9:30 AM on Friday.
For whoever is going to help with the teen party they said they can
open up a little earlier if we want (6:00 on). I just have to let them
know what time is best for us. She's going to get me a list of an
estimated number of kids, ages, etc. so we can plan fun activities w00tbounce  They have a kitchen, but not an oven. She
liked the idea of having the kids make some decorations, etc. They
are advertising it, calling it a Holiday party, etc. so let's start tossing
ideas around...Highfive

I ordered some basics from Oriental Trading-some little prizes,
inflatable microphones, bears for the little kids that may show up,
some holiday beading stuff, etc. I also have a large doodle roll which
we can do a holiday graffitti thing. I can burn some CDs with popular
dance music (although my idea of what might be fun is probably stuff
teens don't even know Haha) Need some serious help from Cassie,
Kylie, and our other Tayter tots on this one!! Also would love ideas
from teens on what projects they might enjoy...

Once we sell some ornaments we'll have a little budget to work with
so we can pick up the snacks, food, etc. If people aren't coming, but
want to contribute or donate to the project just PM me (Kimberly
already did-thanks! Huggy) I think we may be doing more for the
shelter as opposed to individual kids. They are homeless, so she
said gifts etc. aren't that practical as they have nowhere to keep them.
Sad If we buy hats, gloves, etc. that is very helpful-stuff they can use at
the shelter, she suggested gift cards to Walmart for basics, that type
of thing. They can buy what's appropriate for the kids that are there
at the time. Everyone check their dollar stores for deals Huggy
For the ornaments -- will they be available for purchase at the party? Or delivery if we purchase online? The design is awesome!
The ornaments probably won't arrive in time for the party. We tried,
but the proof process was a little slow, and initially it took awhile to
get the right company who would do them quickly. I'm still hoping
they may rush them but they're promised for end of the month. At
any rate, we figured shipping into the cost, and people will get them
early Dec. Woohoo Glad you like the design! Heart
I called the Navigator Inn-they do have a room available with 2
queen size beds and a pull out sofa for $105. Could do 5 adults.
Breakfast is included in room rate, and their lounge is open until
around midnight. How many are in for this one?

Also, there is a holiday festival in Camden from the 30th through the
weekend. Might be fun for Sat. a.m. or even Friday day if we get
there early. Looks very festive and fun Woohoo

I REALLY want to move to Maine Cool
I'm with you on the move Liz. How far do you think that is from here?

LISA

Liz I'm 95 % sure I'm in. Linda said we would be leaving around 9 or 9.30 Friday morning shit if you ohters are doing Camden it's not
that much further to Ellsworth for the concert Saturday nite with Amy,Linda and myself what the hell.w00tbounce

I also have a couple of blow up mattress too I could bring.Smile I'd be
more than happy on one of those.Smile
There's a concert Saturday night?

It's 4 hours 35 minutes from here, according to Yahoo maps...and we all know how I love Haha Yahoo maps....who could forget the Twin Rivers escapade. Funny I was never directionally challenged before that, and haven't been since then....must have been the fumes from Taylor's stool.....

Ok so it's a long drive, big deal. Then I flip to calendar....party Saturday night, 12/1, starts at 5:00....and I'm in charge of the Silent Auction (why, I'm not sure Haha), which means I need to get there earlier...so it looks like Camden is out for me. Sad

Really a bummer because I'd like to do the party for the shelter. Sad

SO what concert will I be missing????
