OK we all try to get great photos, some come out better than others! I have a $400 digital camera and apparently it sucks for concert photos. Can we start alittle thread and state our camera make and model so when viewing eachothers photos we can see what they are using!

I have a Canon Power Shot SD900 10.0MP. Great on regular photos, all concert photos even set on High ISO came out dark. Sad:(Sad
Kodak Easyshare Z650 - 6.1 megapixels with 10X optical zoom

It seems to take great concert photos - once I realized what I needed to do. I use the Sports feature for objects in motion.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3
I wouldn't recommend it though. It only is 5 megapixels with a 6x optical zoom. A stronger zoom would be so much better, especially for concerts.
Olympus Stylus 1000. Very tiny, but has 10 megapixels and takes
pretty decent videos and picks up good audio. Only 5x zoom though.
I had an Easyshare and that software is easier to use and edit with.
Haven't learned the Olympus enough to know which are best settings
for concerts-other pictures come out awesome.
Ya know that's one thing I never thought to do was switch it for action! By the time the camera took the pic he had already danced his way out of my pic! LMAO!! Haha:haha:Haha
Sony Cyber-Shot 4.1 megapixels......I don't even know the zoom....I am kind of slow on tech stuff!

My next digital camera will be a Nikon however....I have a 20 + year old Nikon 35mm that is great and I know of a couple SPers who have taken beautiful, clear pics of Taylor with their Nikons (digital)!! Grin

See!?! You just need to learn how to use it! That's what I had to do. I bought this camera back before the Portland AI & LMBO shows. The photos I got of the AI show were horrible. LMBO pics were good because, well, they weren't Taylor. They were pretty still and stoic most of the night. Smile

Before you toss the camera, try out the action feature. I think you will see a huge difference!
