NESP is going to attempt to reach out to those that can't view the premiere airing of Whomp at the Warfield Sunday night by bringing you a "cellcert".  You will be able to dial into a conference number and listen to the show as it airs on HDNet at 9pm.  You will also be able to chat with those attending the viewing party that night after the show.

We are going to attempt real-time photos of various activities taking place at the party.  There will be a special thread dedicated to these activities so participants will be able to chat online and enjoy the show together.

If you think you'll be able to be online to participate, please leave a note below!  This is the first time our board has attempted anything like this so a few kinks may need to be worked out.  I think this will be fun, no matter what happens.

This thread will be accessible by members & guests.  If you think someone from another board might enjoy spending the evening here, please feel free to invite them.  

The more the merrier - however, they will be subject to board rules.

Also hope everyone is as eager to purchase "Whomp at the Warfield" as I am. It should be in stores before the end of the year.

Even though it will be premiered on TV , we need to buy this DVD when it becomes available. Not only because it will be a wonderful addition to our Taylor collection but because purchasing it is the only legal and ethical way of obtaining a copy. I surely hope that no one will rip it from the TV show even though it will be very, very tempting...........

even if someone does do a capture from this broadcast unless they have some very specialized equipment I don't think it would come close to the DVD for quality - especially visually
I have a library of stuff I've recorded to DVD off Dish's High Def RAVE concert channel and it degrades it quite a bit - - would happily buy those concerts in High Def if they were available

Just because we're going to share the premiere of the concert with others via audio, does not mean we won't do our part when the DVD is available for sale. This is more about sharing the fun that the few of us are going to have tonight together with those that can't be there.
