I love to send and receive Christmas cards (along with just about any other holiday). If there are a lot of people that want to do this, is there a way we can do a master list & then PM it to the people that want the addresses? I don't know about everyone else, but for personal reasons, I'm a bit leary about putting my address out for public view.

Maybe we could do like a Secret Santa type thing. Where we have a master list and someone would match up each name with another and whoever's name we get we would send them a simple Holiday ornament. We wouldn't have to buy one for everyone on the list, just for the person's name we got, and it would be a secret and a surprise until we get the ornament (or other gift)then the identity would be revealed!
Just a thought, because I did something like that on the Bookcrossing.com board years ago and it was fun picking out the ornament to send to someone in California (that's the person I got)that I didn't even know or had never met. Most of us know one another or have met a time or two.
It's up to you guys, what everyone thinks??

I always resolve to do Christmas cards, usually go as far as buying them, but it just doesn't happen... but if I was "assigned" one person for a gift, then you know it would happen.
just a thought: what about a musical gift such as a holiday CD?
Or we could send a card first to this person signed "Guess Who" or "Your Secret Santa"
followed by the small gift or ornament the following week for the great revealing!
Some people may have a problem with the whole "Santa" thing or "Christmas" depending on their beliefs, but I don't think it would be a big deal. If someone is Jewish maybe they could send a little driedel...(.sp?)
What if we saved this for the Christmas party, drew names and then sent the gift closer to December 25th?
