God bless Tally.  She is such a beautiful & courageous girl. Heart
I pray that she stays in remission & leads a happy & healthy life.

My hubby had his pituitary gland destroyed by illness so he also has Diabetes Insipidus & has to take many medications.  If Tally or her Mom ever need anything, just even to talk, I'm here for them. Heart

That's a sweet offer Ally!  Sometimes its comforting to know your not alone and it often helps to talk to someone whose experienced the same thing your going through!   Huggy

Thanks, Gina. I cannot say enough how proud I am of Tally. To go through such a scary thing & still see that sparkle in her eye that I saw at the concert, I am just in awe of her. Heart
Having Diabetes Insipidus is a rare thing, let alone her having to deal with cancer, and if I or Steve can help her in any way, we would be honored. Plus, she & I can talk about Taylor Hicks! Woohoo lol! WinkGrin

So glad to hear the good health news for Tally!Woohoo
Cancer free! Amazing! What wonderful news!

Best wishes for a healthy and happy and Taylor filled 2008 to Tally and her family! Heart

Thanks Diane!! Huggy

It's so wonderful that she got good news-I've been wondering...Heart

Diane and Lori, thanks so much for your part in making this all
happen Huggy That's really what the SP is all about-celebrating
Taylor, and each other-mushy I know, but true Heart
Thanks for the complete story. I didn't get a chance to meet Tally and her mom, but I did see them from afar. I'm so glad she got to see Taylor and to actually meet him!
Hi Everyone,

This is Lynn, Tallys Mom. I've already thanked Diane like crazy for this great story. But I need everyones prayers now. We just got word from her doctor that her last MRI showed something very small where the tumor used to be. They think it's scar tissue but the only way to find out is to do a full craniotomy again to take it out. I just can't belive this. I really thought we were in the clear. They havn't used the word remission or survivorship yet. This is the last step they feel they can do in order for them to say that. Anyway, We go to the surgeon next Tuesday and the surgery might be as soon as the following week. In the mean time I will just keep on doing what ya gotta do to keep goin.

She doesn't seem to be bothered by the idea which is what makes Tally so special. I get all my strength from her. I love her more than life itself.

God Bless
Love
Lynn

Thanks Lynn for the update.
Both of you best wishes and yes you got all the prayers coming
your way, think positive and Huggy to Tally and you.
Lynn, You and Tally will have the full support and prayers from NESP
going with you. Heart If there's anything we can do to make this easier, or help in any way, please let us know!! If you think getting
little cards or surprises in the mail would be fun for her, just say the
word and we're on it Huggy
Lynn, I am so very sorry things didn't go smoothly - we will all be praying that this is just a bump in the road.

and ditto to what Liz said - we want to do anything we can for you and Tally.

BTW:  Maine has a very active support group in place for children and their families - probably Massachusetts has something similar - if you haven't already been given information please ask - I know it was a godsend for a local family.
