Well, since we have reached a milestone in our existence, nearly 250 members, I thought it would be a good time to touch base with all of you wonderful NESPers!

The group is growing in size, activity, and cohesiveness. It's more than Liz and I could have ever hoped for when we started on this little adventure in September 2006. We've had an amazing 2007 with 10 opportunities to enjoy Taylor in New England, and we are anxiously awaiting his next pass through our little corner of the world. We are also being recognized by Taylor and throughout the Soul Patrol world as a very fun, cool, and generous group to be part of!

I know all of you have been enjoying our Forum, and that brings up an important issue. For the past few months, I have come up against bandwidth issues part way through the month. I have had to add bandwidth, taking server space that I had reserved for paying web clients. From the beginning of the NESP site, I have paid for the cost of the domain and the server out of my own pocket. With the recent increases in site traffic and bandwidth usage, we could really use your support in helping keep our website going.

I have put a “Make a Donation” button on the Forum. Even if you can only afford to donate $1, it would make a huge difference and would be greatly appreciated. Please consider making a small donation if you use and enjoy this site. It's not a requirement by any means, but we are extremely grateful for anything you give to keep everything up and running.

Our website is our home Heart Thanks for all you've done to keep
it smooth running, organized, and up to date Huggy

Haha People will probably have a little money to donate now that
Taylor is taking a break. Is anyone else's credit card statement much
shorter this month? Rotfl
I appreciate all you do to make this a great site for us all Tricia. I get so much enjoyment from this site and the contact with the members that I am glad to help out !
Tricia -

I will be sending you some money soon.  I intend to include NESP in with my regular monthly bills, even if it's just a small amount.

What would I do without this site!?!  I don't even want to think about it...w00t

I would be more than happy to make a donation, but I have one question .I am always leary about using a charge card on line, how secure is it to do so ? Tricia you do an outstanding job here,I can't even begin to imagine what it takes to keep a site up and running. Thanks for all that you do.
I visit here every day, and there would be a void in my life without having this site to share with you all. I will gladly be making a donation soon to help keep it going. You girls have done a lot of work to make this happen for us!
Like Amy said, I will also make it a point of making a monthly donation...even though it may not be much right now. Shy
I'm not alone in saying how much I appreciate all that you do, Tricia. I just love it here.

And....yeah...what took you so long to ask??? WinkSmile

Hi JAG,

I've had a PayPal account for at least 4 years now and have never had any problems.   I find it is really convenient and also a good way to keep track of what I've done.

There are a couple of things I do to increase the safety factor.

>  I only go in through a trusted site like this one or type the PayPal site into my browser myself - -   make sure the Paypal link address shows the padlock indicating a secure site

>  I Never follow a link from an email no matter how official it may look.

I do occasionally get phishing email - someone pretending to be PayPal in an attempt to get account information - - and I always just forward it to their spoof address even if I think it may be real.  They usually respond rather quickly telling you whether it is real or a phoney.
That addy is spoof@paypal.com

Hope this helps you decide Smile
