We enjoyed the Greyhounds in Myrtle Beach and Asheville, they got a good groove on, and set the stage for Taylor.
I enjoy Ms. Lightman's music, but she may be a little too mellow for Taylor's crowd.

So i started the tour with Taylor Hicks a few days ago and i must say.... i did not know what to expect, but this has got to be one of the best tours i've ever been on. His fans are so great! it's such an amazing feeling to have so many people come over after the show to pick up a copy of my record. Thanks to everyone! And just giving a little tip on a possible duet that we've been talking about
The first show was in Boston and then we had a day off in New Hampshire. Not a very long run before a break
But we stayed at this Best Western in Hampton Beach, NH. We went to dinner at the hotel restaurant and then went back to our rooms. It was dark at this point. Within the next hour, all of a sudden, all of the power went out. All over the city... I went into the hall and there were only emergency lights on. Paul, my drummer, was swimming in the pool when the power went out! We all decided, we might as well go back to the bar and have a drink in the dark. We befriended this nice couple and their daughter who lived and worked in the hotel. In the palace...
Well, after 2 hours of drinks and cards (some random game that court taught us) we got the music bug. Soon as i knew it, we were putting on a show for the few people at the bar, in the dark. The lights eventually came on again, but we didn't even notice
We ended up playing for another 2 hours. It got pretty sloppy, but it was a blast. Hopefully, no one will see the video footage
We then played 3 awesome shows in a row. Let's keep 'em comin'!!!
