Does anyone have suggestions as to what to see in Salem Mass.besides the Witch Museum? Any restaurant suggestions? We are visiting there tomorrow on a bus trip and will be there for about 8 hours,so any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi Jag, I used to work in Salem-wonderful place!! Especially this time of the year

Victoria Station restaurant used to be great and it
appears it's still there and looks updated. It's right at Pickering
Wharf, which has all kinds of specialty stores, little bars, etc. There
is a shopping mall, Museum Place, on Essex Street. Everything is
an easy walk there-tons of small shops along the way. Here's a link
with more info too. Have a wonderful time!!

I haven't been there in ages and ages, but if I remember correctly the House of 7 Gables is there too. All we did was witch stuff tho. Lots and lots of witch stuff...
If the House of 7 Gables is open, please go do the tour. It's very, very interesting. I was so glad we took the time to do it.
I was a little disappointed with the Witch Museum tour...interesting but thought it would be a little bit more.
Salem is just a fun town to explore, the waterfront is cool, shopping is interesting.
I also enjoyed the house of 7 gables...
I hope your weather cooperates, let us know how it goes.
Thanks for the information everyone . I appreciate it !

You guys are great, thanks again,I'll report back and let you know how it went !
I lived in MA for 30 years and have never been to Salem

.
I do have a sign on my front door right now that reads "The Witch Is In".

Seger, like your sign
It's worth a trip to see Salem-lots of history, cool shops, it's on the
water, etc.

Haven't been to Salem, but my sister & I recently added it to our spring excursions list!!!

Isnt' that where the witches are? I'm soooo slow! Wasn't there a Steven King book about Salem? I really need to get out more!
