I had no idea when I saw the theme of the day that I would discover a new form of creative expression.
I hope some of you enjoyed what to my eye were pieces of art.

There were many more but didn't have the time to deal with the size limitations.  A few I tucked away
to work on for another time.
Didn't work as an avatar but thought it was too cool to leave behind

This should be an inspiring day! Smile

Just yesterday I was looking in a magazine (Hot Rod) trying to
find something unique for hubby for Xmas and I almost ordered him
a neon street rod sign to hang on our basement wall. They don't give
those signs away soooooo guess what he's not getting one.
Some treasures...

Classic Vegas..

A red guitar!  (the full sign is Bridge to Harmony)

Classic Minneapolis bar, Brian G played here often (after I moved out, before I knew about him -- of course)
When I was in school in Minneapolis, there was a classic animated neon sign of a cowboy roping a steer in the area.. I think it got dismantled and moved, but I'm having no luck with Google...
That Bridge to Harmony sign is awesome!
Margaux, those are great shots - thank you ! !

I'm not having any luck either but did stumble over this and it made me laugh so lugged it back

. . .
Bridge of Harmony is a music store in Brainerd and StCloud MN.
St.Cloud is the closest "city" to Lake Wobegon..
