Did you know that every day of the year has it's own special significance ?  No ?
Well neither did I until recently.
I decided to wait and start this thread of wacky celebrations on the first day of the month so

. .. . ............ . . .NOVEMBER 1st - - TODAY WE CELEBRATE

Thanks Mary Jacob for giving us all the support we need,I hate to imagine a world without bras( NOT!) AH,this is gonna be a fun thread LOL
So we have her to thank!?! I'm sure knowing her would have been an uplifting experience...
Very cool bit of trivia!
I guess they have a day for everything!

They were so cool when I was 15 or 16 or 17 or 18.HahaAnyway can't remember that far back had little ones AAA or something like that was pissed at the time of course EVERYONE had bigger ones
than me.ShyThen I don't know when they blossomed to C's in mid
twenties.after kids and age they are now down to my knees.
Moral of story watch what you wish for and BRAS SUCK.Rotfl:rotfl:

Things stay dusted if I don't wear one around the house these days.Grin
Considering at the time the only other option was corsets? Hallelujah!

Although I still can't find one that fits properly... gonna learn to make my own one of these days...
Funny story. My granddaughter Abby was an avid breastfeeder. She called the breasts "milks" (she talked early, but yes... she breastfed until age 2). One day my daughter was carrying a laundry basket and dropped a bra. Abby said "Oh Mommy? You dropped your milk holder". The college-age baby sitter and her friends took it up and the phrase spread. Now in Northern Vermont colleges, many female students go to Victoria's Secret or elsewhere to get new "milk holders".

Cute one Duff.Grin

Very funny story Duff!

My son did not want to give up breastfeeding so when he was 11 months old I had to cut him off cold turkey. It was ugly because he refused a bottle completely and ended up going straight to a sippy cup. He is very much infatuated with boobs...I NEVER let him see them but he tries to stick his hand down my shirt and likes to talk about "boobies" like they are the forbidden fruit!
I am a very strong advocate for breastfeeding and I cannot stand it when women are chastised for breastfeeding in public. God created breasts to nourish our babies and why the heck should we stay home 24/7? I nursed my kids in a car, on an airplane, in many restaurants and malls and noone got a free show! They got a peaceful, happy baby!
End of my rant. Grin

This thread was about bras, right? Tongue

I'm with you! I did the same. Cassie was breastfed for 9 months, everywhere, and exactly as you said, there was no free show. It's wrong that on the one hand the medical community is telling us this is best for our babies, but society in general can't get past the sexual aspect of breasts, and so it becomes taboo. Done with my rant as well.Wink

Bras, wish I didn't have to wear them. And as any of you who have actually met me know, if I didn't, well someone could get hurt. Haha
