Liz -- I do think people have to BUY tickets up front to make this work.
Since it's a fundraiser you buy tickets whether you win or lose.

They could tell me how many tickets and then do a paypal donation
right? Tricia, do we need a special button for that or can they send it
to my email? (still clueless on Paypal merchant stuff)
On Paypal, the button makes it easier, but anyone with a paypal account can send money to someone else with a paypal account by going to their own account, select "send money", enter your email address as the recipient and the amount desired.
We have to establish a price per ticket.. 10 tickets for a dollar? Is that too cheap?
I think the PayPal button would be much better.
Liz, we need to talk to iron out all the details on this so we can be up and running. I fear that this week will fly by!!!
Most Chinese auctions that I've been to do 4 tickets for $1.
Let's not be too cheap. I think Amy is right about the price.
4 tickets for $1 is fine with me. We'll raise more money!
