Diane: I'm quite enjoying your recap and photos...
No hurry for the rest, as it will be a long winter and it's nice to have things to look forward to.
I love picture recaps! Diane, this is great so far!!

Sounds like
a lot of silly fun with the giant head shot

I would've been right there
with you!
That email from CD Baby is hilarious!

Josh must have cracked
up when you sent it to him. Glad his CD is doing well!
Looks like a fun group that went (waving to Denise and KEB

)
It does seem like each show people are more recognizable to do all
the pics on the net, etc. Should be a nice cohesive group by the time
the convention rolls around!
Now, bring on the real Taylor details!!

The concert - right before it started, practically everyone was moving around and changing seats, upgrading to the middle VIP seats that were suddenly released. We didn't think of it until too late, but our seats were fairly good, just way over to the right.
Brad and Linda Hicks came in and so did Ms. Joni. I was very excited thinking about them seeing Taylor. The crowd was loud and VERY rowdy. There was a lot of drinking going on before and during the concert. Some drunk jerks came over next to us and kept yelling something undistinguishable in Mississippi language at me and trying to push a beer can into my hands during Taylor singing. At one point, one of the idiots tried to grab my camera while I was videoing and said, "I'll take a picture of you with him in the background." ARRGGHH! I am never hoping there are more men at a Taylor concert again.
My concert pictures came out terrible. so I didn't keep taking them and focused on video instead. Here are a couple, but they are no good. Check out RagsQueen's - they are much better.

These are very blurry, but they are my favorite type of shot - Hand On Heart (sigh)
This is probably the clearest shot, unfortunately..

I guess you have seen what the setlist was supposed to be. It was pretty much what they played (omitting HOAD) except for the encore. Maybe Taylor realized the crowd was too drunk and nutty for those songs.

So Diane, you're telling us not All southern men are gentlemen ?
Wonder if when the red lights dominate some cameras can't cope ? ? I take very few pictures because - well - I suck at it - but have noticed the red light makes it worse than just my own incompetence .
Looking forward to seeing you and Lori this weekend

After the concert we went to the stage to seek setlists, and instead of a setlist, Jay handed me a sheet with directions to a Alabama-LSU football pre-party with a message to Taylor and someone's phone number scribbled on it.
Out to the lobby to hug each other more and say hi to Stephen. He was quite busy!
Stephen said that there would be some neat holiday merch available soon!
