Update as of 4/19 I spoke with the contact from A Baby Center and
she's a huge Taylor fanHighfive said he made the show hot and she
watched every week because of him-she was really excited we're
doing this Smile

The center served children under age 3 so anything appropriate from
newborn to 3 years is great. Here are some of the things she mentioned that they need...but anything is appreciated Heart

-Toddler clothing (doesn't have to be new, but has to be in good shape)
-Diapers, all sizes, and pull ups for older kids
-Baby wipes
-Baby wash and shampoo
-Diaper rash cream
-Infant washcloths and towels
-Baby blankets
-Crib sheets

If people get supplies and post them here, we won't duplicate (great
idea Margaux). We'll collect at parking lot in Cohasset and at preparty
in Hyannis (wherever that may be lol working on that). Karen is doing
a PSA for media that may also get more donations. I already think
I've located a pack and play to put everything in-just waiting on a
price.
I am guessing that we all could bring a package of diapers and no one could complain. My sister says diapers are the best gift EVER! LOL

I'll keep my eyes open and will post what I've found. I might check out Goodwill this weekend if I can drag myself into Bangor...
Spoke with my Daughter-in-law about this today and she is thrilled with the idea of finding a home for a rather large pile of little girl clothes  - - some of which were barely worn
[ first time I've had a little girl to buy for so am the guilty party - lol ]

There will be some things that are unisex too but no boy's stuff - those did find a home with her friends.  There should be a nice selection of little girl clothes up through size 2 and most probably some 3s by then.as well

Will be glad to contribute $$ toward a crib and pick up some other necessity type things too.
Will be adding some books to my stash as well - - it's a "thing" with me.

Too bad this hadn't come up a little sooner - - two long time friends of mine recently closed their children's clothing store after 30+ years - - they sent all of the "leftovers" to a local charity just a few days before I knew about this project  Sad
Linda, sounds great about all the clothes!! I have a thing about books
too so will be including some as well. I think they're going to get some
good "loot" Highfive Bummer about the clothing store timing, but it
sounds like it all went to a good home Heart
I will be crocheting a baby blanket to include. This should be fun!
I scored big today on stuff for A Baby Center. A lady was selling a
pack and play, and a portable crib for a good price. When I went to
pick it up I told her what it was for and she thought it was awesome as
she was a single mom and no one ever helped her. She ended up
giving me 2 strollers, a walker, bedding, and is calling me next week
to pick up clothes in good shape, etc. Huggy
That's awesome, Liz! Good for you!!!
That's amazing Liz!!
Is this where we are to post what we have so far for the Baby Center?
Has the list started yet?
I would say ahead grimsby5...what have you got?
