Wizardgal, I'm doing the same thing-collecting as I go. Grimsby-for
the canister, I'm just going to use a gladware bowl and put pics of
babies on top, and then write out Help New England Soul Patrol, fans of Taylor Hicks help A Baby Center, Hyannis WooHoo!! or something
to that affect. Every little bit will help...

I have collected a nice assortment of pretty little girl things (sized 0-6 mos) and a bottle warmer. I plan on picking up a package of diapers...and who knows what else I might find!

I have secured a baby bath tub, blankets, bibs, clothing, toys and more!

I will be getting things that are easy to pack(not too big), like toddler clothes, infant washclothes,etc. I will post after I buy the stuff to let you guys know exactly what I got. So we will be handing in this stuff at the before-party? What if we don't make the before-party? (I am definately going to try to, but may sleep in in Boston after 5 hr Cyndi Lauper and friends concert in Boston the nite before! Then have to travel from Boston to Hyannis, check in at the new hotel,fiance is diabetic, so must catch lunch,etc. )

Another question- Liz, I know I told you I wasn't going because my cat was sick, but sadly, she has passed, so I will be going, did you get my e-mail where I ordered the 2 water bottles? Again, what if can't get at the pre-party?

Just a note, I will REALLY try to get to the pre-party, just concerned I might not make it.

I know how heartbroken you must feel

Tricia is taking the water bottle orders (LuvTayNH) so you can check
with her on that one...

If you can't make the preparty, we'll figure something out. I'll have the
stuff in my car right at the hotel and venue so we'll find a way to
collect the stuff. Thanks for donating!!

Thanks Liz. Yes, I am heartbroken. She was an ANGEL... a really sweet girl and quite beautiful. I miss her terribly. Thanks for the info...I'll contact Tricia.

Grimsby and I had a nice meeting with the Baby Center folks today.
What an awesome place! She said they're helping just about
500 babies a month-15,000 diapers a month, and 5,000 outfits a
months just for starters. It's very well run, well managed, and all their
stuff they pass out is in great shape and top safety condition. She
seemed really interested in hearing all the Taylor stuff we were telling
her

If you haven't purchased anything and still want to they really need
diapers (newborn to 6, and pull ups 2T-4T) as they are low, and baby
wash and baby wipes. Anything is appreciated though

I plan on getting a bunch of stuff-just has been so much going on with my sweet kitty Fluffy dieing, my grandma dieing, my planters fasiitis problem, the new job failure, and now my fiance's dad is in surgery to get a pacemaker put in, and he has been sick for a couple weeks....things got a bit overwhelming...I fell into a depression...but hopefully I will get out out it and go get the stuff I planned on getting and make it to Hyannis.....

Caryn, You have enough on your plate-don't worry about the Baby
Center. Of course you're overwhelmed and depressed-you have so
much going on. We'll send you some prayers and good thoughts and
hope it all works out as it should
