I didn't really struggle with any of these. I could care less really between Norah Jones & Alicia Keys - think each would be boring live. No real contest between the others except Bruce & Bob, Genesis & Eagles.

Love this idea ! ! !  There are some Both and Neither pairs here for me and never have been good at accepting ultimatums, sooo . . .

Bon Jovi or Nickelback  - - -  no contest - - Bon Jovi

Norah Jones or Alicia Keys - - - mood dependent - today it's Norah's turn

Kenny Chesney or Rascal Flatts - - - couldn't name a song done by either if my life depended on it - flip a coin

KISS or Aerosmith - - - Aerosmith  - Kiss pretty much begins and ends for me with Rock And Roll All Nite

Clay Aiken or Michael Buble - - - kinda like choosing between warm milk and chamomile tea - - pillow come with that seat ? ?

Bruce Springsteen or Bob Seger - - - No Fair ! ! - - refuse to choose - - flip that coin again

Genesis or The Eagles - - - Eagles - - even though I think they phoned in the new album

Maroon 5 or Daughtry - - - I'll wait in the bar - - -

Billy Joel or James Taylor - - - Mr. Joel   please  - - saw J.T. in August - no need to repeat - ever

Sheryl Crow or Susan Tedeschi  - - - another easy one - - Susan Tedeschi

Pink or Kelly Clarkson - - - Pink - fell in love with her for "Stupid Girls" and have liked everything since  - plus she had the very good taste to hire Suzie McNeil for her 2006 tour

Michael McDonald or Neil Diamond - - -   this one will surprise some of you - - Michael McDonald - - as much as I like ND there are quite a few of his "pop"-ular songs that I don't like and would not care to have to sit through - guarantee me a set of his newer stuff and we'll talk - - Michael on the other hand has never done anything I didn't appreciate - also have seen two of his concerts on Dish's RAVE channel and they were very, very good ! !

John Mayer or John Mellencamp - - - Mayer is interesting but just misses for me when put his stuff up against   A Little Night Music, Pink Houses, Small Town, We Are the People, Hurts So Good, just for a few and not even touching the heavy things like Rain on the Scarecrow and such - so the Cougar for me please

Annie Lennox or Bonnie Raitt - - - another hard one and mood dependent - coincidentally was listening to Annie's great version of Procol Harum's A Whiter Shade of Pale just before finding this - - love the song and a lot of people I like have covered it so run a playlist on Rhapsody every once in a while - -
guess for overall body of work will go with Bonnie Raitt but reserve the right to run between theatres
Smile

Faith Hill or Dixie Chicks - - - wouldn't want to sit through a whole lot of either but will go with the Chicks if only for this bit of sanity in Not Ready To Make Nice

" . . . . and I don't mind saying,
It's a sad sad story
That a mother will teach her daughter
that she ought to hate a perfect stranger.
And how in the world
Can the words that I said
Send somebody so over the edge
That they'd write me a letter
Saying that I better shut up and sing
Or my life will be over.  "
