According to CassidyD8482 (who is Zippy's sister) from her post at the Boogie Board :

The band playing for Taylor will be Brian Less, Jeff Lopez, Al, Felix and Josh.

Remembered because my reaction was adding Brian G would make it just about perfect.
(no offense to Loren - just miss Brian L on the organ and the way Taylor interacts with him )

Two saxophones - omg yes! - - please !?!   (add purring sound)

That will be cool-a mix of the old and the new band members Wink I
wish we were going!! I think we need a concert date soon! w00t
Had a stash of quotes on patience collected while writing a long ago speech - - thought it might be a good time to dig up a few of them Grin

"Patience is the key to contentment."
-- Mohammed --

"No greater thing is created suddenly, any more than a bunch of grapes or a fig. If you tell me that you desire a fig, I answer you that there must be time. Let it first blossom, then bear fruit, then ripen."--
-- Epictetus --

This one made me think immediately of Taylor's marathon comment regarding his career - -
"There is no royal road to anything, one thing at a time, all things in succession. That which grows fast, withers as rapidly. That which grows slowly, endures."
-- Josiah Gilbert Holland --

"Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success."--
-- Napolean Hill --

Love this one ! !
I am extraordinarily patient, provided I get my own way in the end.
-- Margaret Thatcher --

Off to patiently sit through a Choral Society performance a dear friend is part of - - they are quite good actually Smile
Just got a bulletin on Myspace about a performance of Vintage Rags in Minn on the 12. It says on the bass........Brian G. Kinda cool. I guess most musicians can play more than one instrument.
Most cool. it looks like a great club..

Vintageraggs is also doing the New Years gig. If St.Paul wasnt so freaking cold at New Years (you think Maine and NH are bad....), I'd call my sister and see what she's doing.

But it would be a good thing to do on a spring/summer field trip.

If you want to keep up with this band:

I should let my MN connection know about this. Smile

When I first moved down to the cities, I joined a band called Raggs.
The first person I met was Billy Larson in a hilarious situation I can't
go into here. Well, all these years later I am pleased to say, "I'M
BACK." Billy and I have an incredible history together and an
incredible new band we are calling "VINTAGE RAGGS."

Marv Gohman (violin, 12-string guitar, mandolin, harmonica, vocals),
Brian Gallagher (bass guitar, saxophone, vocals), Pancho Lopez
(drums, percussion, vocals), Matt Kassanchuk (keyboards, vocals)
round out an outstanding Rock & Roll experience. This band kicks
ass. Our first gig is December 15 at the Minnesota Music Cafe.

Brando and I will still be playing out in the Hunyuckers, and some
Bedrocker dates, so keep checking in and we will see you soon.

I'm picturing Brian G on the bass guitar and I'm liking it. Wink
Sad Why can't I live in a place that has entertainment like that in your neighborhood.Sad
