Great idea Karen....and nice to see you posting again!!

Hi everyone-
This is a great idea Karen....... Felix told me he will be touring with Lionel Ritchie.....so I assume he is.....Brian told me he has some jazz gigs during the winter....I think he mentioned Puerto Rico to me in Staten Island but am not sure when that will be....anyone else with info?  Geez I miss our handsome brown eyed man!!

Felix went on some one time gigs with Lionel to fill in for his regualr drummer. I think Lionel is pretty much done with this tour except for a few one offs.

The holidays seem to be quiet for these guys. January will bring lots of interesting things because that's when many tours get pulled together.

I'm so glad Felix, Al and Josh will be joining Taylor in Memphis

I wish I could go to Memphis but will be in California for New Years week. How do you know those guys will be with Taylor, Margeaux? I missed that information. That is really good stuff!

Is anybody going from NESP? Someone needs to ask them what Taylor's tour plans are! Also the band members! Who wants to volunteer for this mission?

My husband works for the Peabody Hotel Group which owns the Peabody Hotels in Orlando and Memphis (where the gala is) and 3 hotels in MA. The Memphis hotel has been sold out for quite some time. Typically, DH could pull some strings and we could have a free room at either Peabody Hotel but I cannot travel to Memphis for the 28th as I am hosting family and friends from the 20th thru the 30th at various intervals.
I asked if DH knew the GM at the Peabody Memphis and could somehow have a hotel employee take pics of Taylor at the formal gala because few SPers may actually be there. I would be able to post them for all to share! He has never met the GM but my answer was "I'll see what I can do."

Seger: Don't you just get tempted to call the friends and relations and say something like "oops, something's come up, my mother in law is having surgery in Tennessee that weekend, we just gotta be there?"

Margaux - sounds like something I have done. Only it wasn't a mother-in-law, it was myself, with a stomach bug.
