Thanks for the reminder Amy - - t'was a chuckle but my ears are bleeding
A company I once worked for celebrated both Jewish and Christian holidays - we all learned a bit - not to mention we ate very well - latkes remain a favorite of mine
This is a beautiful animation on YouTube - -
"I Wish Every Day" - a Christmas & Hanukkah greetiing

The Hanukkah menorah has nine candles - one is used to light the other eight symbolizing the miracle of the one day supply of oil that lasted for eight days - one candle is lit for each of the 8 days of Hanukkah. That is a very simplistic explanation - - - -
There are many sites referencing Hanukkah - this seems to be a good one for general information.

I've heard Adam Sandler's Hanukkah song twice - last night & this morning - which prompted me to look at the calendar when I got to work.
So, here's to Eight Crazy Nights for those of you celebrating!
