Thank You --Thank You --Thank You

Dear Soul Patrol,

Go Soul Patrol!!! In 2006, the Soul Patrol donated 1080 Beanie Babies to Kid One Transport and throughout the month of December, each of them were hand delivered by one of the Kid One Transport Team members to the children of Alabama.

One will never know the impact that this gift had on the children of Kid One. Some children might have been on their way to a well check-up and then there are those who might have been on their way for chemotherapy or dialysis. Something so small as a Beanie Baby can really bring a smile to a child’s face – and think…you, the Soul Patrol were responsible for over a thousand smiles.

This year, you have outdone yourselves! A total of 2000 Beanie Babies were collected and will be given out within the next few weeks.

Please know that on behalf of everyone at Kid One, we thank you for the time, energy and funds you have put into not only the Beanie Baby project but for everything the Soul Patrol has assisted with throughout the past 2 years.

We only look forward to great things to come!

Each toy was delivered with a card stating who and where it came from, the poem inside the card reads:

This special friend was sent to you        
from someone far away
It comes with love and wishes                
for you to keep each day.
