I haven't forgotten Sebago...they were very kind to us the first time around.
We could do Sebago for the preshow gathering, and save DiMillos
for lunch the next day. Tradition Smile
I'll be thinking of you while you're at DiMillo's :-)
I will check on Sunday...but just wondering how close Sebago is to Merrill Auditorium? Does anyone know?
about 2/10 of a mile
going up the street from the top of the Old Port it's a straight shot

and Sebago is "around the corner"  from either The Regency or the Hilton Garden Inn in the Old Port if that is the next question Tongue
Merrill Auditorium is going to be 3 hours from home...that's my only problem. Leaving you guys and driving back home...but it has to be done, so I can see you all again on Friday!!!
Hi- Is anyone staying overnight after the Portland show that needs a roomie?
I'm coming up from the Boston area and don't want to have to do that long drive home after the show!
Not sure what the hotel plans are yet-I think Linda was looking into
some options...
Look for rooms away from the Old Port area...they will be MUCH cheaper! One example is the Motel 6 on the Westbrook exit. It's not the Ritz Carlton but it's not a bad place to stay. I've stayed there a couple of times and it's clean and comfortable.
I really prefer to stay downtown and not have to drive after the show - - there are 3 hotels I'm familiar with that are an easy walk to Merrill auditorium - two are in the Old Port and one is up near the art museum.  The Old Port has a lot of restaurants and bars for getting together after the show.
Will be looking for Sunday night since most of us are coming in from the RI show  -

the Hilton is a relatively new hotel with double Queens and the rooms we had before had plenty of room for a cot or even two in a crunch - -

can see the info upthread at  Post # 19

and Post # 45 shows the Sebago Brewery in relation to Merrill  - someone had wanted that info
