HELLO SOUL PATROLLERS
JUST WONDERING WHERE EVERYONE IS STAYING IN PORTLAND AND IF ANYONE HAS ANY GOOD SUGGESTIONS FOR MY FRIEND AND I,WE WILL BE ARRIVING EARLY SUNDAY AFTERNOON DRIVING DOWN FROM PQI.I"VE BEEN LOOKING AT EASTLAND HOTEL AND THE REGENCY REALLY WOULD LIKE TO BE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF VENUE,BUT ALSO WOULD LIKE TO STAY CLOSE WITH EVERYONE FOR PRE AND AFTER PARTIES.MY SENSE OF DIRECTION IS TERRIBLE NOT TO SURE OF MY WAY AROUND PORTLAND.I KNOW THE OLD PORT BEST HAVE HAD MANY BEERS IN AND AROUND THERE,OH MY IT'S BEEN 15 YEARS AGO NOW THAT I STOP AND THINK ABOUT,AHHH THE GOOD OLD DAYS,BEFORE HUSBAND,KIDS,TIME SCHDULES,MOUNDS OF LAUNDRY,DRIED TOOTHPASTE IN SINKS,ETC...............OH THANK YOU TAYLOR FOR TAKING ME AWAY TO SUCH A ROCKING PLACE THAT I NEED TO VISIT SO MUCHHHHHHHHH MORE OFTEN.IF HE ONLY HAD A CLUE HOW HAPPY HE MAKES US ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!I FEEL SO DUMB I HAVEN'T YET FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE THOSE SMILIES.

Do people in general want to spend more to be right in Old Port,or
go cheaper and get cabs in and out of the area? We may end up with
a little of both for hotels...

South Portland will of course be cheaper than the Portland hotels and I've stayed in most of the South Portland ones if anyone has any questions about them! They are all really easy to get to from the Old Port area.

Linda and I just had a quick planning thing re hotels. We booked
Days Inn in South Portland for Saturday night. We can get a group
rate of $189 for Hilton Garden (as opposed to 229 and more) if we
have 4 or more rooms. If Barbie has one, Linda and I each have one,
do we have one more person that would want to book? If so, let me
know and I'll set up the block. That's in a great location and is a
really nice place.

Aren't we staying in Lincoln Saturday night???
