Wow, good news !! Do I assume he will be making a swing through New England? I wonder if it will be connected to his book signing? I read the book comes out in July !!

P.S. Since the Taylor sites don't seem to be updated with current info, where does anyone find good info/news on new tours, etc?

Amy-I knew you would be excited!  I wanted to email you privately, but didn't have your email at work, so I am glad you visited this site today.  I will DEFINITELY be there, and will call the venue this afternoon to get details on ticket purchase, seating, etc. I'll share what I learn here.

Duff-I heard about this from a friend who knows I'm a Taylor nut - she happened upon a copy of the Portland Phoenix and the show was listed in there.  But I have yet to see this on any other Taylor site, although I did post on the message boards on THHQ.

Count me in! I loved Portland and it's an easy trip. Taylor is going to
break the bank but who cares??? :woohoo:

OK. So I called the venue and here is what I found out.

There is no presales through Portix for this show, and no group sales. The guy I spoke to said that the fan club has not yet reserved a block for presale, but still might do that.  

Sections are numbered and there is a diagram of these on the Merrill Auditorium website.  Rows are letters, starting with A (except for sections 1 & 3 which start at B).  The Orchestra area is $66, the Terrace is $56, and the others are $46 it appears.

Ticket go on sale at noon on 4/27 and can be ordered over the phone by calling 207-842-0800.  You will need a credit card.

Amy, did you like Eastland Park when you stayed there? It's probably
going to be the cheapest and is still close to everything. LOL we can
