So...my daughter gets the 2008 Guinness Book of World Records for Christmas.  I'm reading through it and come across this:

Most Phone Votes for a TV Talent Show Contestant

Taylor Hicks (USA) won the final of American Idol 5 on May 24, 2006, after receiving a large majority of the 63.4 million votes cast on the night (the exact percentages were not revealed).  During season five's run, 580 million phone votes were cast.

Aren't you proud to have been part of that?  :D


Gee,  Guinness Book & Q20 game in just a couple months!  Taylor sure is "showing up" in some unusual places.  Kinda fun,  actually!!!
