That statement from J Records didn't sound too professional! Usually they release a put together statement to the press, but the way they did it was uncalled for. It's no secret that Clive doesn't like Taylor. I keep looking at Kelly Clarkson when she did her CD her way, and Clive didn't like it...ya think maybe this has been in the works with Tay leaving? Taylor is/was in L.A. on business, so?
I just wish he'd make a statement, but that's not his way. I prefer to think that he's in the "middle of something."

That really wasn't a statement, was it? What I find interesting is that this was reported in one place, Entertainment Weekly, and every other place refers to that or quotes it verbatim. We really don't have an official statement from anyone.

The Soul Patrol is Taylor's fan base, right? Who disbanded the Soul Patrol? If Taylor doesnt officially come out and say, "Yo guys, forget this Soul Patrol crap, its over," Im not buying it.
As far as Im concerned, as long as there are fans of Taylor's music, there the Soul Patrol shall be! I'm not kidding--Im completely serious! The Claymates never disbanded--they are still out there!
People just like to trash what they don't like and what they don't know anything about. Like my sister, for example--she never understood my "fascination" with Taylor, she thought Chris should have won, yada yada. She just doesnt get his music.
Everyone is speculating over one comment for heaven's sake!
This happens to lesser known artists all the time over "creative differences". Artists leave one label and sign with another. It's been this way since the dawn of time. I'm sure that Taylor knows everyone is wondering what's up and he will let us know just as soon as there's something to tell us. I guess I have faith in him because he's not new to this game, only now he has a bigger fan base and better connections.
