I remember listening to"' Aint No Sunshine " and thinking why are those people talking in the background and not listening to what I consider a vocal masterpiece. Taylor's version that night is the most hauntingly beautiful version I have ever heard. One can hear the weeping of the harp It's simply stunning ! As I sit and listen to this version in the privacy of my home,I think this would have been a moment to have been in that room,on that night ,surely they would have had to pick me up off the floor LOL

JAG.....I feel the same way! Idiots were they! Wink

WORD Seger ! Can you imagine being oblivious to that performance,it blows my mind ! Wink

You know at the beginning of the live pre-idol Levon where the girl screams "LEVONNNNNNN!"

I'd like to think that was me. Haha
I remember sitting there week after week watching him on Idol thinking to myself "if this man ever goes on tour"!!!!!!!!!! And boy did he ever, I knew he would give it all he had at every show and wouldn't disappoint, and I have to say he didn't! Smile
He gave us his absolute all in every show. My first show was Jim Thorpe, PA and it was good, but I have to say, by the time I saw him at Concord, he was a thousand times better. He played with his audience more and actually seemed to enjoy the audience more. A little of that is evident in "Whomp at the Warfield." Not to say he disappointed in any way, but it was just a little more loose, a bit unconstructed--what is the word he used to descibe the vibe of his next album? Raw? I cant remember. Millersville was just fun--I have to say that was the best of three shows I saw. I cant wait to see what's up next--keep it real and full of soul. He will not disappoint because how can someone disappoint when you are giving it everything youve got?
