Since NESP is so good at planning, I'm wondering if in our resources
we can help my brother find a great wedding location.

They want a very small wedding (only around 20 people) and are hoping to find a New England location between Southern CT and the Cape (anywhere in CT, RI, or MA would probably work actually). They ideally want a little traditional white church/chapel within walking distance to an old historic hotel/B & B where everyone could stay overnight. Nothing real flashy or pretentious, they just want to keep it
simple in a pretty setting.
Remember, he's the pilot that (once he returns to work-off on disability) has the ability to kidnap Taylor if he's ever on one of his flights

Was there a church near the Fosterdale Motor Lodge?

Any particular denomination of church?

We want them around to produce THE.GRANDCHILD. That
would scare her away so fast!!

It isn't flashy or pretentious, I'll
give you that
I think they're looking for a nondenominational church-they're more
spiritual...
Check out this place. My sister got married here...except on property. I know there is alot of historial stuff around and I know that there are some cute little churches nearby if that's what they are looking for. I felt that the service here was excellent....definately had all the personal touches that my sister wanted. Pictures were awesome too.

Some of them are on my Myspace.
The name of the place is The Inn at Woodstock Hill. I think it's

Don't quote me though. She said that if he would like to see some of the shots taken to let me know. I'll forward him the link to her photographers site.
Hope this helps.

Small world! My brother lives in Woodstock, CT.
Liz....my advice is to check out Longfellow's Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA
I attended a wedding there about 14 years ago and they have a quaint chapel on the grounds....the bride is brought over by horse drawn buggy....a small Inn with restaurant and gift shop and a beautiful grist mill. Check out the website. There were some updated (ie more modern) rooms on the main level and one large room on a second floor I believe where I stayed with two friends and
that room is haunted. I am not joking....there were notes left all over the beams and in the chest from people who were visited by ghosts during their stay and it happened to me too.

You guys are the best!!
Angela, that's one I hadn't seen and will definitely pass it on to them-
it looked great!!
Funny you should mention that one Seger, I found it yesterday and
they looked at it and both liked the looks of the Wayside. I used to
teach in Sudbury, so know the area well. Great feedback which I
will send them as well!
LOL They got nowhere searching. It took me hours to come up with
just a few. Ask NESP and 2 great choices within hours of posting

These places look adorable. Can I come to the wedding?
