I'm glad for him.Roll EyesI just hope he gets the lead out of his pants and get listing tour dates, tell us when that new organic cd will be surfacing, and the dvd spring is a long ways off in my world already.
For some unknown reason I'm pissey today anyone can tell.Haha:haha:Haha
Good to hear this. I hope it is true, particularly the first comment. I do wonder who that insider is, and if they really are, but what he/she says makes sense to me.
Just saw this in an Alert too

Everything there is factual - - and that is the point.

Here's to more of Reporting of news and less spinning of it ! ! ! !

As a matter of fact I'd like that to happen for ALL the things in the media. Especially from now until November Cool
I'm counting the minutes until the new CD,and everyday I search for tour dates hoping he's gonna surprise everyone with some new dates ! SIGH !

I hope it is a "real mole " too
but have you seen this  from the International Herald Tribune ?  It is in my alerts so maybe that's the only place I saw it and hasn't been on here  - - hard to keep track . . . . .

but the phrasing struck me from the beginning that either they were being unusually kind - - yeah right ! ! !  - - or it was at a minimum a split by mutual agreement.

And now we find that the oft quoted phrase is from the person who was Taylor's assigned label publicist. - - [not to be confused with what's-her-name from The Firm]

"Taylor is going to record on his own for the next album," said J Records publicist Liz Morentin, who did not give further details regarding Hicks."

I'm right on that if wishes were horses beggars ride with you but - - -  and wouldn't mind being wrong one bit - -  but am wondering if Taylor will tour much more with the current song catalog ? ?
Seems like he would want to hit the circuit when he has new material to put out there.
Just a thought - - -

I think you're absolutely right AH,he probably won't tour until he has some new stuff ! I am just hoping against hope for an impromptu visit to some little nightclub in the area,of course Ct is a million miles away from Alabama LOL !
But Canada hasn't seen the Taylor Hicks Whomp machine in action - - I can think of a couple nice places in New Brunswick - - - and close to me for a change ! ! !  Grin

There is this really talented, really nice young artist from Nova Scotia who could open for him too
Pretty sure KraftR could talk Charlie into it  Haha
A new article posted on HQ....I think it's from OK magazine quoting his "rep"....not very favorable....I hope Taylor is happy and we hear from him directly soon. I don't want to have to start wringing my hands over this J records issue....I want to stay positive!
