My Dad FINALLY got into AI last year, and was sort of disappointed with last year's contestants...
Dad remembers vividly how Mom & I were SO into Season 5, and how we woke him up out of a sound sleep
when Taylor won
, is sort of regretful that he did not watch the ULTIMATE season, of which will NEVER be replicated again...
SO, which leads me to my question:
Might ANYONE have the
ENTIRE Season 5 on DVD?
Or at the very least, from Hollywood Week on?
It would be GREATLY appreciated!
I did just read MM that American Idol Rewind will be starting soon and it will be Season 5. I guess it will be airing on Fox (not sure when - weekends?). Maybe that helps you somehow? I wish I had the entire season to watch too...
I only have part of it (after top 12) but I do not have my favorite song of Taylor's.......TROUBLE......PLEASE remind us if/when this airs and on what channel because I really want to watch/record some of it!!

Someone made me a DVD of the entire Taylor AI experience last year, but I had an old DVD and couldn't watch it until Sunday night. It is nice and has every little Taylor thing I ever saw on AI and some things I didn't see. I need to buy some DVD discs and try out the burner. But if it works, I would be glad to make them for anyone.

I had the entire season on my DVR and didn't realize that when it got full it started to delete things by itself. I just figured it wouldn't record anymore. Well, we recorded World Cup Soccer games while on vacation during the summer of 2006 and when we came back, no AI! 
Now I know that you can protect things!!!

Last year Idol Rewind was on several times a week. I usually caught
it Saturday nights at 8:00 (I have such an exciting life lol). I'm really
psyched it will be Season 5 this time around
Imagine, their
ratings for reruns will probably be through the roof!
My station (not fox, channel 56 Boston-southern NH I think) has been running Idol Season 2 on Rewind, Saturday evenings at 8 pm.. the auditions took all fall through the holidays
Just now they are on top 24, I believe.
If anyone learns the schedule for Season 5, let us know..

I have been watching bits & pieces of AI-Rewind, when I remember/locate it on the TV, and it is absolutely that I am remembering SO FEW people from that season... But then again, I tend to LISTEN to the show, rather than WATCH it...
I really did not start WATCHING the show until well into the 2nd half of Season 3 with Fantasia & Diana...
With Season 4, featuring Bo & Carrie, I probably watched from the top 24 to the end, and Mom & I both said that Carrie was probably going to win, but I REALLY wanted Bo to win...
But when I heard a certain voice during the audtions in Vegas in 2006, needless to say, I was intrigued enough to get up and leave my dinner to get cool, and the rest is history...
