I had a blast even though I didnt get the M&G because they gave me front row instead. He was sooooo great and that stool song was awesome. Im so happy that Taylor and the band feel comphy enough to come out after the show. Taylor even came out again without security and was very relaxed and just chilled. Good to see everyone again and thanks to Taylor and the band for another wicked good show  lol. Did anyone hear Brian G do a Boston accent out at the busses. Hes got it down pretty good and such a nice guy. Even Josh came out to sign and take pics What a nite

So glad everyone had a good time! Smile
I have two words to describe my time in Concord yesterday: EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER!  It was a beautiful New Hampshire day and I won't go into the bad things that happened to me...I'd rather share the amazing stories.
I went to Concord alone (40 minute drive) and met Margaux near the venue as I was parking. We walked to Margarita's together where I shared a table with Duff and hubby Tom. After a drink, NESP gift organization and other pre-parTAY stuff we walked to the Capitol Center for our M&G wristbands.
An employee (security?) person asked who the case of Sam Adams belonged to and said it was not allowed in the theater! Rotfl After he was informed that the beer and the two big metal buckets full of New England treats were gifts for Taylor and the band he sort of scratched his head and said "all this stuff is gifts? I'll find a way to get it back to them."
The venue personnel made several announcements that cameras were not allowed and they told us to bring them back to our cars and turn off cell phones. Bummer!
There were loads of people at the M&G...I was introduced to Stephen (themerchguy) who was super friendly....I gave Taylor a unique Patriots hat and said I know he is a Ravens fan but should wear this hat when he's in NE...I got him to laugh! Thud I bought the harmonica keychain.
The show was amazing....every one I have seen has been slightly different and Concord stands out for Taylor's audience interaction with the crowd and for the AWESOME ENCORE!!! It nearly brought me to tears. Heart
I visited quite a bit with Lori and I sat with a fan from Brooklyn, NY who told me this was her 20th Taylor concert! Grimsby...I just love your enthusiasm...you do NESP proud! Highfive
After the concert we went back to the car for cameras and when we got to the buses were told Taylor had already signed some things. Thinking I missed him I decided to hang out because it was fairly early and I'm very glad I did! We got a NESP group picture, chatted with Brian and Josh, and Taylor came off the bus to visit with the fans for several minutes. He signed a few items but mainly hung out and talked to the small crowd behind the police tape. It was very cool of him to do that.....what an amazing entertainer (he looked tired after the show) to give so much to his adoring fans!! Heart Grin Heart
My night ended on a high note and I really hope someone was able to tape Taylor's stool song because it was very, very special!!!

Andrea

Great recap Andrea,Taylor and his band members and Stephen are all so uniquely gracious to the fans.Maybe I have lived with my head in the sand, but I don't recall many other performers interacting with the fans like they do.I'll say it again how lucky are we?The pictures are fabulous ,thanks for shraing them.
Hi everyone!!  I'm still in Taylor heaven, it was the best show yet!  He loves us in New England.  Margaux and Linda, it was great to have you stand up with me!!!!  And thanks to all of you for holding me up/and taking my pic with Taylor (aargh, my camera!), it was wonderful!  My mom, Joyce, had the best time, and is just so happy today...what a great night.... HeartWoohoo    Susan
Definately his best performance yet, great to see him so giddy and goofy!

If I had to rate the best show as far as crowd performance that would go hands down to the Beacon in NYC, we stood from the first note to that last the entire show! We were all leaning on the stage, it was awesome! w00tbounce:w00tbounce:

Big E here we come!!! Woohoow00t
Concord was a blast !! So good to catch up with you all. I have some pictures of M&G's (Susan for sure, maybe some others) that I will download at work, it is easier. Taylor was relaxed and fun and in such great spirits wasn't he? I could not believe how chatty he was at my meet and greet. And out at the busses, how relaxed he was with our crowd. Made me proud of our NESP to think he and the band trust us enough to be that comfortable around us all.

Thanks to all for making Tom (Mr. Duff) welcome. He is always a bit reserved in groups, ( especially if he is one of the very few guys present !! ), but enjoyed himself a lot. He agreed that this concert was by far the best he has been to !

And a big THANK YOU to all who helped organize any part of this... I won't name names or the great things accomplished as I will leave someone out for sure, but thank you all !!

Hope everyone had a safe trip home !!
I just have to say, as much as one concert is never enough, there is no limit, no time I could ever say "enough" and that could be a problem!! A very sweet problem, but I could travel anywhere to see him again! His talent and charisma is just unbelievable! I'm thinking the Big E is gonna happen for me, after all it's TAYLOR! All you guys are so great, thankyou all for everything!! Huggy
Andrea, Your pictures are just georgeous, just like Taylor! And that sure was the best concert that I have been to thus far. He was in such a great mood, and I loved when he came out for that fabulous Dan Folgeberg encore and was shhh-ing as he snuck up to the stool....too funny. All the NESP are such a great group and are receiving such great compliments on other sites as well! I know you all make me feel like home! Susan
I certainly hope that the good times of this weekend outweighed the bad, Andrea.
I wish I could've been there with you guys, but I did manage to listen a bit via cellcert on the Boogie Board. Smile
I'm so glad that you all have some great memories from this weekend.
Taylor is just the best. What an awesome performer & such a great guy, taking the time to come out & chat for a bit after putting on a killer show.  Smile
