I don't think there is much more that can be said about the Concord show. It was an incredible day - such wonderful weather and good times with good friends. When you throw Taylor performing into the mix it just adds to the beauty. Seeing that I had 2nd row seats, I was very excited to see how Taylor would react to seeing so many of the Meet & Greet crowd near the front. I could tell that he was loving it. Of course the show itself was full of Taylor's usual exhuberant performances. When the band and Taylor left the stage before the encore I said to my friend Andrea, "All of the NESP is holding their breath for the stool right now..." And no sooner did I say that, when it appeared. I truly believe that this encore was Taylor's way of thanking the NESP for all the wonderful gifts and support that we have given him. We may be a small group (compared to the whole nation) but we're a mighty, active group that wants to show him as much love and devotion as he deserves. During the encore, I was impressed by the crowd's ability to hold it all in. I kept gasping and grabbing Andrea's hand when the falsettos and verses were hitting me. I probably was whispering "Oh my god...oh my god..." but if anyone else heard me they said nothing. It was truly the most incredible thing I've ever seen and I am lucky that I was able to tell him that by the bus after the show. Taylor sounded like he had been leery of doing the song as it's not exactly the season of Auld Lang Syne but after we explained to him the beauty of the song I think our point was made. I am so glad I was able to tell him how much I loved it.

Not to mention the fact that he wore the shirt that I made him and gave him at the Meet & Greet. A perfect ending to an already perfect day. That's what prompted me to head for Staten Island the next morning...
aww... Amy... nice recap. Thanks !

P.S.  I got a nice pic of you and Taylor at meet and greet.  Let me know if you'd like me to send it to you.
