Good morning campers!
WOW!!!! Details are fuzzy but I can honestly say that was the best show I have seen....and I've seen, how many? Well, lots.
He was just awesome. There was dancing, interacting with the crowd, and an awesome, awesome stool song. OMG I think some of us nearly dropped during that stool song. You could have heard a soul patroler wheeze (I just hate the "pin drop" cliche)
He was out at the busses before the show, after the show, and again after the show, signing stuff and just talking to us. Just talking and laughing with us. So very cool.
I got my first set list.....and he signed it after the show, the second time he came out. He visited with us, laughed & was so relaxed.
I was able to get a few shots of him on the stool, the only ones I took as there seemed to be a no camera policy at the venue. I did not care, I enjoyed the show, danced like a fool.....and when he came over to my corner of the world, and did that crazy legs dance, followed by the onion shake, and it went on for awhile, I damn near fell down. I hope I was not drooling. I hope my mouth was closed and I maintained some shred of dignity.....as he was looking me in the eye. Thought I imagined it but several of my friends witnessed this from their seats.
...so today I must race home for a lobster bake for 200 (anyone heard that yet
), then the bonfire & fireworks on the beach with a live band.
Was the trip up to Concord worth it? YES No question about it.
I'm SO GLAD I came up.
THANK YOU to all those that urged me along, and made it possible.
....and a HUGE THANK YOU to Taylor for another memorable, if not the most memorable, concert experience.
