I heard last night's cellcert, the main difference was the addition of Lowdown to the set Smile
I think that Taylor got an earlier start than Saturday night, and so he could add another song to the set.

I'm happy to hear that the Bethel Woods adventure was a success! Looking forward to recaps from Aging Hippie, Liz and Alicia!
The phone that was cutting out and eventually died was mine. The signal there was not great at all and it kept bouncing from 3 bars to zero while standing in the same spot. If you could see where this venue was, you'd completely understand why. So many rolling hills and valleys out in the middle of nowhere...
Glad you all had a great time (well, except for the rain).
It was pretty cool to watch Taylor and have lightening flashing up behind us. It seemed appropriate. Grin
I posted these with my recap but in case anyone missed them - - -

I'm terrible at recaps-never seem to have the time to organize my
thoughts...

The Bates motel w00t Felt like I was transported back in time to
the 50s (40s?) Haha Sorry, but any hotel that has been the "host
to Woodstock concert fans for years" should have an ice machine. Ironically, I did get a great night's sleep there.

Bethel Woods is a beautiful venue and setting. Loved the look, the
pretty pathways, the whole design. Complete opposite of the real
Woodstock though. In '69 they were having sex in the fields and
smoking weed. In '07 you couldn't even light a cigarette or leave the
grounds. Meanwhile at the Buffett concert on the same night it was
much more of a Woodstock feel Haha

It still is very surreal to me that I could be walking around in a place
I'd never been before greeting people from the internet. Grin It was
fun to meet up with Linda T. and crew, Diane, Tamara, etc. We ran
into a lot of SPers which was really fun Huggy

Taylor did a great set.w00tbounce It was nice that the rain started right before he went on so all the tailgaters came in and got to see him Highfive I agree, seeing Taylor at Woodstock with lightening in the background was "electric". He did a nice job of announcing Earth Wind and Fire. I wish they had mentioned him or thanked him at the end or something. He worked "I'm at Woodstock" into a song, which
I have on video if it comes out right. That was my favorite part Wink

I wasn't crazy about EW&F's first half-didn't know any of the songs
and it was kind of disappointing. The second half was great though-
all the old standards. Finally got to hear Reasons live which was
quite the thrill! Haha I think the fans knew the songs more than most of  the current band members, who seemed a beat or two behind on all the old standbys.

It was fun to see Stephen thoroughout the evening, and he was nice
enough to bring our gifts in. Great guy Huggy
Liz, you are not terrible at recaps!   GrinHeart
I must admit I completely assumed that Taylor would jam with E, W & F even if only on one song......I can't believe they did not extend the invite to him! Sad

Glad you all had fun and got home safe and survived the hotel!
I'm gonna post some Bates Motel photos tonight, I promise. You guys are going to laugh!
Kris is great, he always sees me coming to talk with him and now he just reaches for the nearest set list and hands it to me. I hope he is around next year. If not at least at the Big E. I owe him a beer or something to say thanks.

Alicia

PS... Woodstock ROCKED!!

Yes, grimsby, that was the official set list.  Kris gave Alicia one after Taylor's set was done off Loren's keyboard.

I have some photos of the venue and crowd that I will post, as well as some of where we stayed.  It was very interesting to say the least.  Smile
