Yes, who needed an opening act when we had Stan! He was better than that comedian at Cohasset and Hyannis for sure. And he sure likes to flirt with the ladies...
Totally better than that clown in Cohasset & Hyannis!!!

I enjoyed your blog! When reading the part about very few fans waiting for Taylor and you not seeing any familiar faces, I was thinking "how weird....NESP was there in force along with many non-NESP internet familiar fan faces!"....then I read that you were at the wrong stage...
very funny!

What can I say - when don't see at least 20 familiar faces you know you aren't in the right place! The Big E was huge! And I had a great time!

I did not eat much at the Big E. I wanted Ben & Jerry's but when we were in the VT bldg I wasn't hungry. I had a mediocre chicken and fries lunch with the kids and I had really wanted fried dough for weeks so I got some right before the concert and it was crappy....it should have been warm and soft but half of it was crispy.
Based on my comparing notes with DH and my mother, the food within the state buildings was great but the food from the fair vendors was poor quality. DH actually bought one of the huge eclairs on his way out and threw it away after 2 bites.....I told him he should have bought one from the official bakery and not a stand. My mother's huge fried onion that she talked about for weeks was dripping with grease! Overall the food at the Big E was over-rated based on my experience.

There was food there?
I had a piece of a fried dough - two bites & it was OK.
I had a steak, cheese & mushroom in a pita, which dripped everywhere, except on me, during the pig show.
I had a ceasar salad with overcooked steak on it. Yeah adventurous I know but I just was not enthused about the vendor food, and the crowds were intense in the state buildings....which is a sad story. I will spare you.
is now the time to state I lost 2 pounds over the Big E weekend? No doubt due to the walking, and dancing.
When is Taylor coming back? Need to lose 10 more pounds, so at 2 pounds per weekend, that would be FIVE more shows....
OK Taylor....where are the next FIVE shows.....
