Hi
Weren't sure where to put this-
Just wanted to tell you all about what happened to me today.
I went into a local corner market/convenience store to buy a Snapple green tea, and the guy behind the counter noticed my t-shirt I had on.
The black with teal writing with Taylor's tour on the back.

He said, " Ah, a Taylor Hicks fan."

I told him I saw him in concert and will be seeing him again in Concord.

He said, " I haven't heard anymore about him since he won."

Then we talked about getting radio stations to play it more around here, and adult contemporary vs. what the younger crowd listens to.

He said. "Yeah, because Taylor's so different, kinda like a James Taylor." Smile

It was fun to talk about Taylor with a complete stranger! I'll have to wear my concert t-shirt out in public more often. I wondered what kind of responses I would get.
That's neat, TayBea.

I would love for us to get NESP shirts - which we will be doing eventually - to really promote New England Soul Patrol, too!

I have a NESP bumper sticker!
Good job spreading the Taylor word Taybea Huggy I try to convert
people whenever an opportunity arises (and my friends are probably
so sick of this lol) My most unusual experience was with this guy
that came to our bar-he was being truly obnoxious and we all wanted
him to leave but he wasn't going anywhere. I mentioned Taylor and
the guy said "Oh my God-I LOVE that guy-what an awesome musician, and he has a good heart" I almost fell off my bar stool. You
just never know Shy

I'm hoping we'll have shirts by the August shows. Didn't want to rush
them and do something half assed for June-would rather wait and do
really cool ones Cool
I make these handy dandy peel & stick stars and hearts (can be found at your local crafts store)...with my sharpie I have tones of stars and hearts from the very BIG to the very small...I cary a zome in a zip lock bag in my purse...and have some on the back of my Jeep...so when someone asks me if I am a Taylor fan...I give them the choice of a heart or star...with Soul Patrol or Taylor Hicks Fan...and pass on the soul...(it is very simpe, very inexpensive and effective)...I make them while I am watching TV...(I also have extra copies of his CD in my Jeep..so when someone is really interested...I just given them one...
Such loyal fans all of you are!
Just want to add my bit on my Taylor campaign.
At a wedding last weekend, I asked the DJ if they would play "Do I Make You Proud" (great song for Groom to Dad I thought). Well, guess what? They didn't have ANY of Taylors music UGH!
I quickly said, "SHAME ON YOU", (smile). So I went to my car, got both of his CD's and said, "Here, now you can play some REAL music". They laughed and thanked me and the dance floor lite up like a Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center.

I also have a real neat peel off that simply says "Honk If You (heart) Taylor. We hear people tooting at us all the time, but it's great, we wave, smile, do a thumbs up or hold up his CD's.
GO SOUL PATROL

He is by far someone to be very proud of, stars will come and go but Taylor will be here forever!

Anyone check out the website that shows the property he just purchased in Al. for his new home? It's great.

Okay, back to business....WinkTaylor business that is!

Hugs to all, June NESP

God Bless America & God Bless Taylor
