One of the best bookstores in the Northeast is in Manchester, Vermont. The Northshire Bookstore. I would so love for Taylor to come to Vermont ! They have lots of celebs. come there for book signings. Alan Alda was there a couple of months ago, but I missed him (and I do have his book, I am a big fan of his!)

There is a Borders in South Portland near the mall...and I'm sure there is some quaint little bookstore in the Old Port that would love to host Taylor. I just would hope that it was noontime on Sunday. :-)
Wow... the two Bham dates work pretty well with the KidOne event in Bham next month. Sooo, I'll be tempted to go to the booksigning on the 20th, just to watch. I'll get my copy later at the book reading at Boutwell.

did look at going to the Kid One event especially after they sent us all that tempting email but hubby is still getting used to the idea of me taking off in August and even more of an issue >> I live in northern Maine - I think a dry 80 degrees is too hot - not sure I would survive B'ham in mid-July
