Yeah, the 80's were fun! I graduated class of '88! I loved all the music like Journey,Loverboy,Billy Squier,REO Speedwagon

Caryn, I graduated in 89. I listened to Journey and REO Speedwagon all the time. My DH graduated in 88. I have to admit when I went to find the old pictures, I spent two hours looking through them all and my kids really got a kick out of some of them. I really need to do that more often. I have been married to my DH for ten years too. We were married in 97.

Brootsie, did you have a ten year reunion? I went to mine and was surprised how many people showed up. I am curious if there will be a 20 year reunion.

I used to LOVE Journey. I had a serious crush on Jonathan Cain !! Yes, it is fun to look through the old pictures. What bugs me is I lost my HS yearbook, and I would love to show it to Bob! I haven't been able to fine it in many, many yearsSad:(

Ohhhhhh...my yearbook! I'll try and upload some pictures from that tonight Smile

yes I did! w00tbounce nobody recognized me (that was the best part) they thought I was the wife of a graduate...some of the guys who made fun of me in HS actually hit on me!! droolbounce
I was 89lbs when I graduated high school, wore glasses and had long straight hair. Shy At the reunion, I was 120 lbs, ( nice figure) short permed hair and still had glasses. Roll Eyes Now next year, at my 20th, I hope to have shoulder length hair (like I do now)..probably current weight of 125lbs, (hopefully a nice figure) but no glasses cuz I had lasix done four years ago! YAY!! w00t

Good Lord you were 89lbs.? I am so glad you are putting a little weight on and yeah most people our age have the opposite problem!! Good for you on the Lasix, I am going to do that as well in the next few years. You are a hottie, and girl I don't think you have to do any worrying about your figure. I think that is the fun part, seeing if everyone still recognizes each other after so many years!

THawks...
Why, Thank you very much..I clean up all right!! you will be so greatful for the lasix! I was legally blind..couldnt see much past arm length, and I had double astygmatisms (SP?) Not having to search for my glasses during the night just to see the alarm clock, is a blessing!

You wanna see BIG HAIR?????

Me, 1989, senior year in college (Emerson in Boston)...this is my "back cover of my first novel pose"...argh...I used to wear ALL BLACK ALL THE TIME...I think my buddy took this in some alley off Newbury Street--

Me and David, circe 1991, at Rocketfeller Cnt visiting the tree...we were in the "honeymoon" of our relationship, about 3 months in...I was just coming out of my "hippie new agey" stage I acquired the year before while living in LA.

My brother and sister and I in 1995...see, my hair is normal now, although my sister still had big hair (and still does!!), David and I in 2004 (before I chopped my hair off and David lost his) and brother John (he's my older brother who shares my love of all things music!)

I'll look for some older ones when I was in elementary/HS...

BTW...all the pics in this thread are GREAT!!! Bea, I love yours! You look soooo cutie!!

Wow Kim - that is definitely some hair!!! Haha

Great pics - thanks for sharing!

(I also noticed the rolled up pant legs...what a fashion statement that was!!!)
