AAAACK! I think I'm dead!

Happy Anniversary Soul Patrol and a huge thank you to Taylor for
all the JOY

Who would've imagined that one person on one
reality show could literally change the lives of so many? We're still
going strong after 2 years and
I believe it's only just beginning

Here's the magical performance that had me sitting on my couch with tears streaming down my face marvelling at the effect this man continued (and continues) to have on me. This is a song I never liked before-too sappy and overplayed. I'll never hear it the same way again

Here is the performance that put the permagrin on my face

I
absolutely loved it that Taylor had the guts to do it his way no holds barred. No playing it safe-full speed ahead.

I love the part
where everyone boos Simon

I loved everything about it

It's so much fun to relive all these memories.

Oh, it's so nice to reminecse about when our love for Taylor came to be.

I had no way of knowing what was about to begin when I sat in my livingroom watching American Idol that night 2 years ago.
I didn't know at the time what a big part of my life that interesting young-old looking man would become.
He grabbed us with his voice, his look, and his manner! and look at us now-all the "firsts" this man has made us do, and all the miles traveled and money spent on pursuing this man and his music!
It's really just beginning tho!

Taylor changed my life and has given me so much joy. 2007 has been one of the worst years of my life-
my mom passed away, the love of my life broke up with me, one of my dearest friends moved far away, one of my pets (chihuahua died) and my dad is fighting cancer & is not winning. 2008 is still young and I'm hoping for better things to come to me & my family with the help of the Lord.
If it weren't for Taylor and his beautiful music, I don't know how I could have survived this past year. When things were at their darkest, I would just put on a Taylor Hicks CD or watch one of his many, many videos on my computer.
Taylor, you have given me so much joy over the past 2 years. I believe that you came into all of our lives for a reason. I have met so many wonderful people because of you. When I saw you in Millersville, PA, I told you that you brought me and my best friend Denise together. That has been one of the greatest gifts I have ever received! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I pray for your continued success. Just keep going slow & steady and you WILL win the race and the hearts of millions!

Well Taylor, you're still keeping me going. My Dad lost his battle with cancer on March 3, 2008. When I start feeling down, I get online and see what's new in your life. Or I turn on my iPod & watch one of the many videos I have of you. That always cheers me up.
I'm thinking ahead now but remember when I told you about BluesFest when you were in Hagerstown? Well, it will be here before we know it. It is on Friday, May 30 thru Sunday, June 1. I would very much like you to come to Hagerstown to see the 'Fest. I think you would have a good time. You can even bring some friends along - more the merrier! Seeing you have a good time, enjoying the music would make me very happy! You have given me so much the past 2 yrs., I want to return the favor. So if you decide to come, I will pay your way.
From the second I saw you debut on AI I knew you were the one! I couldn't wait every week to see what you would do next. One of my favorite performances was when you did "Something" by George Harrison. I am a hard core Beatles fan and that's all I needed to hear was you doing one of their songs and you had my heart ever since. I would love to hear you do more of their blues based songs. My second favorite was "Play that funky music". Youre too much! I love a guy who puts himself out there like that! Bold and brilliant! And God I love to watch you dance!
On a personal note I want to thank you for taking the time to meet my daughter and I at the Big E! You are gracious and sweet and gave us a bright spot during an extremely difficult time! I will never forget it! God bless you and your career! As a singer myself I know that expressing yourself with music is a blessing beyond words, it cleanses the soul and raises your spirit. Your special, a real talent and something we havn't seen in a long time amongst all the artists of today! Keep rockin!
Love You
Lynn
My, oh, my--all I have to say is SOUL PATROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, dear Taylor, for bringing us together to show us your heart and soul. Even tho I havent met many of my fellow Soul Patrollers, I do know this--we love the music that touches us so deeply because you brought it to us so we may relive what it is we love about the music! I am proud to say that and proud to be within the ranks of the Soul Patrol. The music--man, it just makes you feel good and what can compare to that?
It's all about the music and when you come right down to it, the way you sing has been around for a long time--and I know you intend to keep here for a long time too.
Your Soul Patrol will not be far behind! xo
Taylor, Taylor Taylor...we REALLY REALLY MISS YOU...Last night while checking out at Publix...I heard the first thee notes of JTFTW...and I nearly jumped out of my skin. I moved to another check out line...so I could hear the whole song!!!! It is not right that TPTB kept your songs off the air. Had you any air play whatsoever...there is no doubt who'd be taking home allthe Gold & Platinum. But, in the end, I am so eternally gratefull for AI...as they allowed us all to be a part of the SOUL PATROL...and spread The Gospe of Soul...to all we meet & greet... (more to come)
