Wow, TWO years ago!
You walked onto my television screen and changed my life.
Has it really been that long ago? I guess time flies when you're having fun, so the saying goes.
This thread will be full of moments and memories that are near and dear to our hearts. I hope you enjoy this little time machine back to January 31, 2006.
Today's the day.
730 days ago a man walked in to audition in front of three judges on a television show that I had always watched for it's entertainment factor. Little did I know they would bring me a reason to start enjoying life again.
From the first refrains of "I was born by a river..." and "A Change is Gonna Come" I knew that I needed something more. I've got more in my life now than I ever had before. More music, more friends, more fun.
Even Entertainment Weekly is celebrating. It just can't be helped.

My life has changed in so many ways since the night I heard the voice that almost stopped my heart. I wasn't looking at the screen, heard the voice, looked up, and put my hand to my heart. After he was done, I looked over at Cassie and said "what was that?" Followed by, "he's the one." Stacey and I always say, "it's Taylor's fault," and it is. Every wonderful bit of it - the music, the passion, the friends, the fun, the love. He woke up something in me and made me live again.
Two years ago today my life was changed as well. What an impact you have made Mr. Hicks!
