Will definitely be wearing the Brady shirt. Joe will be wearing head to
toe Pats stuff (everytime I see a shirt, flannel lounge pants, etc. with
Pats I get it for him-he dresses like he works for them Haha). The
cats will be lying on their Pats fleece blanket Tongue One of our cats,
Brownie, is a huge fan. I have pics of her practically glued to the side
of the TV and others trying to bat the ball from the top of the
TV Haha

TMS started a Superbowl recipe thread that's really good. If anyone
wants to throw some recipes in here that would be fun. My quick dip:
(crockpot, microwave,or oven) Take a big bowl and throw all this stuff
in: can chili, jar medium salsa, small container sour cream, small box Velveeta, chopped tomato, pepper, onion, shredded cheese taco type mix, some chili powder or Southwest Seasoning (Emeril's very good). Stir it all together, heat and serve with chips. Comes out great no matter what the measurements-you just want a kind of thick consistancy Highfive

We watch it at home, but I usually hit Kevin's before and after for a
bit. They usually "tailgate" on the deck no matter what the temp-
fun time! Grin
Never a fan of football, I watch for Halftime (which sucks this year) and the commercials! LOL
My husband is NOT a sports person AT ALL! I'm the big baseball fan in the family, my son could care less about any sport, playing or watching, Emma follows me and will watch baseball with me! LOL

I think if I had someone to watch with me and I knew how it all worked I would probably enjoy it more. But when it's football season I just click on by. Roll Eyes
Cassie and I will be watching at my parents house. Dad just bought a nice big HDTV and insisted that we come. I would have preferred him to put that money toward hearing aids for he and my mother, Roll Eyes but oh well, I guess I'll just have to keep yelling for another year. Wink

Ya but Tricia I'm sure it's peaceful for both of them.Rotflw00t

I will be in my football shirt too. I bought the ingredients for chili today...will make it Sunday before the game....like to eat it with shredded cheddar and crumbled Tostitos chips on top!
Have not decided on a dessert yet....might bake brownies and just put whipped cream and some blue and red sugar on top...something easy like that.
I want to buy a football shaped cookie cutter but I am not feeling ambitious enough to make roll out cookies from scratch this weekend!

It's raining, sleeting and snowing here now.....YUK!
Your brownies with blue & red sugar reminds me of the donuts that I brought back to my brother-in-law the weekend we went to Woodstock. We FINALLY found a Dunkin' Donuts off the highway and they had New York Giants donuts. So, I brought him home 2 of those. I realized then (hadn't been to a DD for a while) that they sold Patriots donuts here. He was excited - even though they looked almost identical to the Patriots donuts. Haha It's just the idea...
You wont believe this, but I've never watched a Super Bowl in my life! Hubby and I don't follow football, so we won't even be watching it, but might enjoy a Super Bowl sub somewhere!

Your post reminds me of this: One of the Superbowl commercials (Pepsi? I think) has to do with two hearing impaired guys. The one in the passenger seat of the car is from Vermont. Our TV stationed just showed the ad.. it is a good one.

I read about that commercial online somewhere. It's a classic joke from the deaf community. Smile Pretty freakin' cool.

We just had our first Starbucks open uptown, so I will be hiding out there most of Sunday. I need a latte and some quiet writing time. Don't follow football at all... Tricia will despair of me! Wink Only sport I ever followed was basketball, and even that bores me now. I'd rather follow this gray-haired blues singer... Grin
