I can't believe I'm the first to post this incredible news here!

Are you guys ready?

New.Kids.On.The.Block are reuniting. They are coming back with a new album and a new tour.

This is, of course, written with half humor, half seriousness.

I Heart them throughout my formative years. (So maybe that's what's wrong with me...) I had a poster of every one of them hanging on my walls in my bedroom. Donnie, Jordan, Joey, Jon and Danny. They were my first loves.

On January 26, 2008, People magazine reported that a New Kids on the Block reunion was in the works. An announcement was expected to be made on the band's once-defunct official website in February 2008. However, Danny Wood denied the report, stating there has been "no discussion" of a reunion or new tour for the band.

Despite Wood's denial, on January 29, 2008, a previously unreleased song was added to the band's official site with an accompanying video of the band's career achievements. The video ends with the phrase "Millions of fans around the world await their return", "Are you ready?", suggesting that a reunion may still be in the works sans Wood.

Amy,

Maybe this is why we get along!! I had them posted all over my room too! Even went to meet their parents at the Emerald Square Mall back in the day. I just recently went through stuff that my mother gave me before she moved and the collector's cards was part of the junk in the box. I wonder now if I through them out or kept them.

Keep us informed.....well me anyway. I'm curious

How awesome would it be if you still had some of the old stuff? I am 99% sure that my stuff went far, far away when I left for college.

It's going to be fun to see what they produce!
I know I have my old tapes. The rest of it... no clue. My sisters and I had to share everything, too. Roll Eyes Luckily, 5 NKOTB meant we could each pick one with two left over! Haha

If there is a reunion tour, maybe this time I can afford tickets. Grin
Call me a dork - or maybe just looking to relive my teen years - but I would LOVE to see them live. Just once to see "Hangin' Tough" done live. So what if they are using canes and walkers...Haha
Awwww, you youngsters are so cute Haha

I liked the Backstreet Boys too but not to the extent of the New Kids. Never was an NSync fan...
