Taylor Hicks fans have joined together to contribute to the Kacy Hardenbrook Fund. The Kacy Hardenbrook Fund has been established by The People's Federal Savings Bank in Auburn, Indiana to assist the family in their recovery from the many serious injuries sustained in their house explosion in August of 2007. Kacy Hardenbrook and her two children were badly burned in the explosion. The children are still at Shriner's Hospital.

Kacy Hardenbrook was married on the Live With Regis And Kelly show. When she was asked who she would like to sing at her wedding, her reply was 2006 American Idol winner Taylor Hicks. Taylor Hicks fans, who are always willing to lend a hand to those in need, have joined together to contribute to the fund established by People's Federal Savings Bank.

The Proud Of Our Troops Drive, located at http://www.jewelrysprout.com/taylor-hick...rive.html, is sponsoring a campaign for people to participate in this very worthwhile cause. The campaign will take place from February 8, 2008 to February 22, 2008. Okay, here's the plan we came up with for this one...

NESP is going to make a donation to the Shriners and to Taylor's
Angels project. The bulk of the money will go to Shriners, but we'll
contribute to the Angels' effort and send them a little gift basket with
goodies for Kacy and Jordan.

Anyone that wants to donate, you can paypal it to Kelleen77@aol.com (my paypal). We'll collect items for the basket
this weekend, and if anyone wants to send me something that's
great too. I'll ship it to wherever the Angels want with our contribution.
Small donations are fine-we know money is tight everywhere. LOL
I'm looking at it as a thank you for seeing Taylor in that so
romantic setting-a little early Valentine for us

This is great that we are doing this...I will sending you a PayPay after payday, which is Thursday, and I will rip a copy of the NESP 2007 Christmas DVD to include in the gift basket.

Liz, When are you going to make the donation to Shriner's? After this weekend?

I think we'll do the donation after the shopping excursion and put
the receipt right in with the gift basket. That will give people a little
time to get the items/cash to me

Hi Everyone, If you have gifts to include in the NESP box we're
sending, or want to help with the donations to the couple and to
Shriners (paypal to Kelleen77@aol.com) please get them in to me
by next Wednesday. I'll also collect at the shopping trip this
weekend I just finished the box. Tiffany blue with a
pretty wedding card and bow with their photo on it

Here's the update on the Wedding Project...We raised $125 towards
the effort. Linda made a donation to the Shriners in our name of
$100 and we're sending the other $25 to Taylor's Angels for their
gift fund. We have a gift box for them with 3 Taylor CDs that Linda
burned for them (Dewey tapes,etc.),the holiday ornament, and the
Valentine ornament for fun. I'll send that out as soon as I get an
address for it, Cydter is working on that for us

Thanks so much to all that donated (and there were a lot of you!!)
