David (the DH) gets a kick outta the SPers...like when we went to Concord and when we all started "The Right Place" for Taylor. And fortunately, most SPers like him too!

Kim, my DH is named Dave too. My son has the same name so we call him Dave and my son David.

Too many Daves!! In our family, every guy is named JOHN!! My dad, my brother, a few uncles, grandfathers on both sides and then great grandfathers too. THEN, I marry a man who's FIRST NAME is really JOHN but he goes by DAVE because he is a jr and his dad goes by John.

So what do we do? We name our son JONATHAN DAVID...honors all the Johns in the family!!

Well, our cat is named Taylor...Haha

Cool name for your cat!

The soul patrol in Denver is having a pj party for Taylor and they are showing DVD's of his shows on big projection screens. When we have our get together, we DEFINITELY need one of those screens.

Does anyone have one of these for use at a get-together?????? I have video and I am sure Skeeter has a ton of videos it would take a month to view but we will need a screen!!!! Anyone?? Just getting the inventory together.

Hope everyone in the mid-Atlantic is keeping warm. It's snowing lightly here in the Delaware Valley and it will be 18 degrees tonight. Hurry up Spring and with it Taylor's new tour!!!
We watched Taylor on a giant sheet in Tricia's Living Room for our Holiday Party. It was SO MUCH FUN! Almost like going to a show...ALMOST.

It's the only party I've ever been to that started at 3 in the afternoon and went until about 2 in the morning. Haha

Hi everyone. I'm Karen from N.J. I've had the pleasure of meeting a few from the NESP two weekends ago in Cape Cod.

THawks.. we have met.. I used to be on TMS. :D

Karen!! Huggy PM when you get a chance and tell me how your mom is doing. I would love to be able to meet up with you again at one of these MidAtlantic gatherings.

Hi Karen,
Where in NJ are you located? I'm in southern NJ near Atlantic City. Welcome and hope you can join us in our gatherings. We have to start thinking of dates, places and themes!

I'm in Middlesex County, Central Jersey. Grin

A Taylor PJ partay? Too much fun! Woohoo

Talk about a fundraiser idea...Join Taylor Hicks for a PJ party to
raise money for charity Haha Can't you just picture Taylor surrounded by thousands of Soul Patrollers in PJS drooling droolbounce and hyperventilating Heat? Now, our
photochoppers have to give us some Taylor in pajamas for fun! Rotfl
Hi all MidAtlantic SPers,
I am from Hopewell Junction NY which is a small village outside of Poughkeepsie, NY (about 60 miles north of NYC) where Taylor performed at the MidHudson Civic Center. I have attended several shows; AC Borgata, AC House of Blues, Poughkeepsie of course, and Millersville. Attended all with my husband, named none other than "David". And I have a few more - I have a son David from my first marriage and my husband's son is David from his first marriage. So we have "my David" (my husband), "our David" (my son and then my mom knows who I mean) and "little David" who is the youngest (my husband's son but he is now 25, so not real young) and "Dad David", my son's father - are you confused yet??... but this way everyone in the family knows who we are talking about....glad I'm not the only one with lots of same names....My husband loves Taylor's music almost as much as I do !! This is my first post but I do read almost all of them - usually just so busy that I don't get a chance to write much. But would definitely like to get to know everyone better, so here I am, finally.

Welcome Janice and her Davids!! Isn't that funny? I just have two in the house but when we go to a family function, there are five! We also have a neighbor named Dave with a son named David.

Our region is growing quick, I am pretty excited about that. w00t

You guys should have a David Soul Patrol group Smile
