This is great! As I was telling Tricia (LuvMyTayNH), NESP LOVES to par-TAY--and what a better way than to PAR-TAY with everyone from around here in my neck of the woods!!

Im a transplanted NJersian who now lives in PA--the Lehigh Valley, to be exact. Im a little over an hour from Philly, the shore, NYC and, well, if youre from NJ, I'll probably know where youre from!

Wont it be great to represent the MidAtlantic chapter of the NESP at the next Taylor concert? Were any of you at Millersville (other than the New England chapter of the NESP), Wilkes-Barre, Jim Thorpe, AC or Toms River? I was only at Millersville and Jim Thorpe and met the ladies of the NESP at Concord, which is where I had my M&G.

Lets chat! Woohoow00tbounceHuggy
Hi Indigo - Yes, I was at Millersville, Baltimore, Hagerstown, MD & Asburn, VA. I live in Hagerstown, MD.
I tried to start a Mid-Atlantic Group. We were meeting once a month in Rockville, MD & then moved up to Frederick, MD. We had about 10 girls to start around the time of the Baltimore show in April. But we are down to about 4 regulars now. Actually I've had some very bad personal issues to deal with in my life recently (my mom's death & my dad is fighting cancer & not winning - he is currently living with me). So my time is limited at the moment. Someday, when I get my life back, I would love to get the group going again. Or if someone else gets one going, I'd love to join in. I have a couple of women interested so if a new group forms, I will let them know.
Hi Sue! How great that we can join together this way and get together, following the founding NESP members. Wasnt Millersville an awesome time? He was in great form that night.

There are plenty of members of the NESP who are from our area. Im sure we can get the party started here.

On another note, Im very sorry to hear about your mom and dad. I know how incredibly tough this is for you--I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts. Heart
Hi Kimberly-
Thank you for your kind words & prayers. Yes, this has been a very difficult time & difficult year for me. I've said this before on the boards - if it wasn't for God & Taylor I don't know how I would have survived this year.

Taylor has given me & so many others so much joy the past 2 yrs. I have met so many wonderful people because of him. I have a new best friend named Denise. I met her on the boards before the Balt. show. We got together a several weeks before we went to the show. Had an awesome time in Balt. & have been friends ever since. I have also met other girls from all over - Juliegr, Marcy, cochem, Gypsee just to name a few. This is the most wonderful experience I have ever had - all because of Taylor. I love this man so much. He has brought back great music. He is such a kind, charitable man. And always so accessible to his many fans. He is truly amazing!

I hope we can meet sometime in the future. I hope there will be another great tour thru the Mid-Atlantic area. I'm sure we will meet at one of the shows.

Hope to talk to you soon. Thanks again!
-Sue
Hello Mid-Atlantic region FANS of Taylor Hicks.

I'm so excited to be coordinating with Kim the region that includes NJ, PA, DE and all.

I was born in Philadelphia and grew up in southern New Jersey. I'm between Philly and AC and can easily go in any direction within 6 hours and drive to see Taylor.

I have been to 13 TH shows; AI Philly and Tampa; Wilkes-Barre; winter tour: Tampa, Westbury, Philly, AC-Borgata, Beacon: summer tour: Cohasset, HOB-AC, Innsbrook, Toms River and Millersville. Had meet and greet in AI-Tampa, Philly and Toms River.

I post on the boogie board and Sarasota Soul Patrol, THHQ, TOSP and NESP, of course. I'm a member here and have lurked but this is my first post! What is wrong with me????Argh

I hope we can all make Taylor's next CD and tour a big event for us and Taylor!
I'm happy to have a little time to regroup and save some cash for what I know will be a great DVD, CD and tour. The summer seems so far away but by that time we will ALL be ready to welcome Taylor, meet one another and have some fun seeing great live music.

I'd like to start by having a roll call of sorts. Please post with your name and location and we'll start a master list of our regional FANS! Also, any special talents you have such as ideas of gifts for Taylor, party sites for before and after in your region and/or photography, videography and web page expertise.

I hope to hear from everyone soon and we'll welcome you and your ideas about the next step.

Make it a great FriTAY. Heart

Hi I'm THawks. I live in PA, about one hour west of Philly. About five minutes from Ursinus College if anyone has ever heard of that.

I know Liz (UHadMeAtWooHoo) from TMS where I have been hanging out for a year and a half. I recognize alot of the screen names here from TMS.

I saw Taylor on the AI tour in Philly. I saw him in Wilkes-Barre at The Woodlands with LiMBO. I saw him on the solo tour at The Tower in Philly, at The Borgata in AC and at Rams Head Live in Baltimore. I also saw him when he was on GMA in NYC. I won a M&G last year from HQ but of course it was for a concert I wasn't attending. I was bummed about that but I know it will happen.

I think it's so cool to have the possibility of meeting people from the same region let alone from PA. Everyone I know thinks I'm a little crazy with my Taylor Talk but I'm sure anyone reading this can relate to that.

I am married with four children age 6 months to 8 yrs. I would love to try and attend a MidAtlantic gathering. I have been known to jump through hoops to make my road trips happen. w00t Although, I am quite busy, I am definately looking forward to MORE and I look forward to meeting some NESP members.
