The local top 40 station played the radio ad for Taylor's concert this morning.    It's a good ad.  The song clips included JTFTW and Dream Myself Awake (and one more..).

The sentence that impressed me was:
Experience the force, the energy, the intensity!
Woohoo

Even better, there was a plug for the CD "Available in stores".

I don't know who wrote the ad, 7th Chakra, the Capitol Center, or Taylor's management, but it's a good one.
It's about time we heard good promotional material!
The local top 40 station   Grin
That's cool, Margaux...think you could request them to play JTFTW???
Excellent news! I hope the MA ads are good too Smile

Love that "experience the force, the intensity, the excitement" w00tbounce
I'll check to see if they have a request line, and listen for a while tonight.
They publish a playlist on their website, and it's pretty hardcore Top 40. In my short drives today, I heard both of Chris D's songs.
I have yet to hear JTFTW on Boston or NH radio but when I was in Kansas City, four of us were shopping in a gift shop that was part of an upscale shopping center and I told the others I would wait for them outside because the weather was awesome. As soon as I stepped out onto the sidewalk, I heard JTFTW on the center's system so I stuck my head into the store and announced it to my friends. One is from Kansas, one from Maryland, and one from Atlanta (all KOPS)and NONE of them had heard it on the radio until that moment!

It was meaningful that we met one another through helping Kid One all because of Taylor and we heard his single for the first time when we were together for the first time.

How neat !! Thanks for sharing that !

WZID 95.7, which is NH's #1 music station, AC format from Manchester, plays JTFTW once almost every night between midnight and 5 am. The station's website has a Download Store, with every song played in the past 24 hours, so I check that a few times a week.

I was actually awake to hear it a few weeks ago. Last night, I thought I heard JTFTW in my sleep, I was sort of conscious but not awake, I checked this morning and they did play it at about 1:15 am. I didn't remember any of the other songs they played around that time.

I have not yet heard the Concord concert advertised on WZID. They did ads for the Hampton Beach concert. Different venues and promoters buy ads on different stations. WJYY, the top 40 station, runs the ads, had a picture of Taylor on their website, and gave away some tickets. But I don't think they play the song.
Great news to hear Taylor promoted on the radio. I gotta say.... The Force, The Intensity, The Excitement....made me Thud !!!! I can't wait to see him again!!
