Without a doubt it is Taylor Hicks.He was the most popular contestant,getting the most votes ever from the public in the history of the show.It was Simon Cowell and his derogatory remarks trying to bring Taylor down from the first note he sang for his audition that gave us a clue that this was not going to be easy for Taylor.But being the sincere person and great talent he is Taylor prevailed.I can say he maintained himself with style and grace throughout the show.His concerts and public appearances since the show have been sold out events.He has made appearances in Indonesia and the Philippines showing he has world wide popularity.He has even written a wonderful book.
If Arista,JRecords,Idol and Clive Davis had given Taylor the mass media attention they have given to others that were voted off the show his albums would have sold more and stayed on the charts to this day.
The powers that be tried to change Taylor and his unique style,but thank goodness Taylor is not a 'yes' man when he knows what is right for him.
You can not put a round peg in a square hole,and Taylor's soul will not be harnessed by the conglomeration that is in it for the money only.
This man has' heart and soul' and will be a force in the entertainment business for years to come.
The many fans and the Soul Patrol are behind him all the way.

Who indeed? Without a doubt it is Taylor Hicks.He was the most popular contestant,getting the most votes ever from the public in the history of the show.It was Simon Cowell and his derogatory remarks trying to bring Taylor down from the first note he sang for his audition that gave us a clue that this was not going to be easy for Taylor.But being the sincere person and great talent he is Taylor prevailed.I can say he maintained himself with style and grace throughout the show.His concerts and public appearances since the show have been sold out events.He has made appearances in Indonesia and the Philippines showing he has world wide popularity.He has even written a wonderful book.
If Arista,JRecords,Idol and Clive Davis had given Taylor the mass media attention they have given to others that were voted off the show his albums would have sold more and stayed on the charts to this day.
The powers that be tried to change Taylor and his unique style,but thank goodness Taylor is not a 'yes' man when he knows what is right for him.
You can not put a round peg in a square hole,and Taylor's soul will not be harnessed by the conglomeration that is in it for the money only.
This man has' heart and soul' and will be a force in the entertainment business for years to come.
The many fans and the Soul Patrol are behind him all the way.
Idol you made a mistake by not producing Taylor correctly!
