Hello.
I'm here from northwest Ohio.
I have watched AI since season 3. Season 5 was my favorite - Taylor hooked me when he sang "Levon" in the top 24. I watched excitedly the next week to see if the "grey haired guy" could do it again. The next week I was in Las Vegas when AI was on

Of course I couldn't let my hubby or the people we were with know how I NEEDED to know the Taylor outcome that week, so I waited til we returned home and headed for gofish and youtube. At that point I watched religiously - I wanted him to win mostly so I could keep seeing him (yes it was all very selfish). I kept up on the AI boards and another message board through the summer & watched clips from the AI tour and his "unannounced" performances with LiMBO. Wow - I wanted to see this band so much, but they don't visit my area. So..... my supportive sister-in-law and I made a the roadtrip to Wilkes Barre - gee, only an 8 hour drive. No, sweet husband, I haven't lost my mind. It was there I met my very kind friend and internet buddy, THawks.
I was fortunate to see 3 Taylor shows last summer - Columbus,OH, Cleveland, OH and Goshen, IN. I talked to some nice Taylor fans at all these venues. I was able to shake his hand @ Cleveland. I was able to get my book signed and have my daughter meet him and the band at the Goshen show - they were all so nice to her.
I love to listen to his pre-Idol CDs and the live LiMBO sets that I downloaded. I especially like the 2005 December set. And I still really enjoy the "Taylor Hicks" CD. I am looking forward to the next CD and please let the man tour again (A LOT)!
I am married with 4 children. I work very part time as an RN. I live on a hog farm & my husband has a large hog operation in OH and IN. I am busy with kids' activities and sports and I do the bookwork for our farm. Besides Taylor my interests are sports (NBA, NFL & NCAA), my family, travel, cooking and ebay.
I recognize some names here from other sites. It would be fun to meet other fans - I sure plan to see him when he tours again.
