The website was developed by a Birmingham based internet marketing company whose client list has a very high percentage of Alabama based businesses.

Seems like this is legit - can't imagine a company would put themselves in jeopardy for a client - just sloppy work on the write up maybe by someone at the marketing company - - or revisionist history

Maybe Taylor is building his house and getting a trade-out for the doors - - it would be pretty cheap advertising for them.
If Taylor is doing some "horse trading" to get his house built then more power to him.
This seems to call for a "Taylor smart" - just for old times sake

better LOL why am I picturing a whole line of Taylor Hicks
home furnishings in the future? The Taylor Hicks paper towel holder
that looks like a mic stand...the magazine rack shaped like a guitar...and I'd get to revive my Taylor Hicks full body pillow idea

I really like those doors, and we actually need a new front door and
we wanted one to let in more light that was pretty. How convenient!

I'm envisioning this turning out to be a Martha Stewart like endeavor...but will he start to be on the Macy's ads?

Doesn't this look more like the type of endorsement deals that celebrities do all the time than a hands on design / manufacturing involvement ?
He may personally know the people doing it or maybe even be an "angel" but actual day-to-day management ?

I agree AH, hope he's just in a spokesperson/endorsement role in
all this. While I loved Taylor with Martha as a novelty (and to see
"crafty Taylor" ) he's got bigger fish to fry!!
