I have not sketched in YEARS...and I mean many, many years....but I felt like attempting to draw Tay in pencil and I want to share it with my SP friends.

Wow. Very impressive! You even put the freckles on his nose! Great job!

Thank you everybody....it needs some tweaking, it was just a first attempt and I am rusty. The shading on his face did not show up well in the photograph and the nose freckles show up darker than I really made them for some strange reason. Faces and hands are a challenge but I liked drawing that head of hair!

And you did a good job with that head of hair! Great job! I think it came out so good. I like his eyebrows and eyelashes!

i used to sketch too but have not since my Dad died in 1986. He was the artist in the family, made beautiful oil paintings! I used to sit there and just stare in amazement as he painted.
