To anyone who lives near the Hall Of Fame in Tuscumbia, AL or planning to go there, the exhibit is now open to the public for view.

However, because of Taylor's musical accomplishements and events of that week the official unveiling is scheduled for May 10th at 10:00am.

Looks like Alabama has "Taylor Week" w00tbounce

Woohoo

BluzKat is coordinating with the Alabama Institute For The Deaf and Blind in bringing 15 kids to the harmonica jam workshop. They are very excited about this event and we are equally excited in having them.

Because of the generosity of members of the Soul Patrol and businesses located in the Birmingham and the Tuscumbia areas, the students from the schools have their fee into the Hall Of Fame and workshop paid as well as other expenses they will incure for this event.

It's gonna be so awesome seeing 50 little kids all gazing at Taylor's exhibit as the official unveiling takes place, then seeing them put those harmonicas up to their mouths to play a cool tune possibly for the first time.

JaneyLOL who is a devoted supporter of Taylor's is profoundly deaf and a proud business partner of Whompin Pawz Productions, LLC/Pawz For Music. She has inspired the creation of our deaf cat MUZIK (music). It's because of her courage, strength and dedication to musical education that inspired this phase of the workshop. I have no doubt that Taylor is proud to know that Janey is helping to "spark the fire" for music to all kids regardless of their handicaps.

Go to http://www.bluzkat.com then click on Muzik's tab to learn more about deafness and the education and technology that is available today that are giving kids a chance to "hear" the music.

It really is: "All about the music and all about the soul".
We would like to take this time to thank everyone who has sponsored a child for this event! The AMHOF informed me that the Soul Patrol has sponsored over 20 kids which adds up to over $450.00 to date! Woohoo

Taylor's ear is to the ground with this and I have no doubt that he is proud of his fans for the kindness and unity the Soul Patrol has shown for this special event.

For those of you who are going to this event, I look forward to meeting all of you. We are going to have a lot of fun that day! w00tbounce

Woohoo

PS.....FYI~If anyone ever gives Tay anything to sign, especially for a charity project....please make sure you give him an extra one (he likes to "collect" things)tapfoot
How I wish I could be there to see this! It sounds like its going to be a great time...to everyone who is going, I imagine that it will be positively uplifting when you watch these kids...how can it not be?

And props to the SP for coming together and doing our part!
